Note: Haya's outfit at McDonald's.
Shehry's POV:
I couldn't bear the sight of Haya crying. But why am I feeling hurted? I couldn't explain it at myself. The way she hugged her sister, and when she left, the way she side hugged Haniya,it was just too... Urghh, snap out of it, Shehry.
Someone tapped on my shoulder. I turned. It was Hussain.
'Haan bol' I said.
'Ghar Nahi jaana Kya?' He said. 'Ya idhar hi rehnay ka irada hai?' He smirked in the end.
'Shut up. Chalo' I said,annoyed.
We jammed in with our favorite songs in waqas's car, while I tried to get Haya out of my mind.
So what if she was crying? Every girl does. They have to leave their loved ones behind after all. Its inevitable. But why did she cried?
I was having this immense argument in my mind when someone snapped their fingers in front of my face.
'Yo,Kya soch rahay thay?' Waqas asked.
'Mai batata hun yeh Kya soch raha tha' Hussain smirked.
'Tu chup reh tou behtar hai. Wadda aya Haniya da dum challa' Atif retorted, and we bursted into laughter. Cha gaya tu Atii puttar. I grinned, shaking my head. Waqas dropped me and Hussain at our homes. I went straight to my room, changed into my comfy PJs,and slumped down on my bed. A little while later,Hussain joined me.
'Oey,thora side pay hou Kay sou' I said, huffed.
'Aaj tou baahon Mai aja maryum' he grinned devilishly.
'Hatt ja Beghairat. Gay insaan. And besides, its Mary-Yem,not maryum.'
'Way to ruin the moment, jerk' he said annoyed.
'Tu ja Haniya Kay sath apna moment bana. I'm hella straight'
'Yeah right' he said sarcastically. We both turned our backs at each other, pulled the quilt over us,and slept. But it wasn't long before we both, half asleep, turned back again,
and slept fully,arm in arm.
Haya's POV:
I walked in my room with a heavy heart. I've been very quiet the whole way from the hall to my house. As I glanced at my sister's bunk, my eyes welled with tears again. I took out my pink trousers and a violet t-shirt from the cupboard, and changed. I kept my clothes neatly in my cupboard and went straight to washroom. I splashed water at my face to calm me,and it helped. I shouldn't mop around like this. It's okay if you miss Hirat, but crying like this would make Hirat sad,and not to mention, mom and dad too. I should accept this harsh reality and move on. I lectured myself mentally and wiped my face dry. I came out,and picked up my phone. I thought about Hirat.
Gosh,its her first wedding night!Shut up,Haya. What're you thinking?
Astaghfirullah,I wasn't thinking about 'that',its just.. Urghh never mind.
I shook that thought away and thought about texting Haniya instead, but she must be tired, so I dropped the thought. I lay comfortably, thinking about him. I felt my lips curled instantly in a smile as my mind was full of his images.

I woke up quiet late,as I slept really late last night. My phone beeped. I unlocked my screen and saw a text message from Haniya.
Her: Awake?
Me: Yeah,whaddup?
Her: Do you had your breakfast?
Me: Nopes. I just woke up. I'm still in my bed.
Her: Same here. Let's have breakfast somewhere out.
Me: Good idea. What about McDonald's?
Her: Sounds fine to me.
Me: Okay then. I'm going to get ready.
Her: Yeah,me too. I'll pick you up.
Me: Okay. Meet you in a few.
I hanged up and went to the washroom. I took a quick bath and freshened myself and changed into my dark blue jeans, white shirt and a dark sea green coat with gold buttons and black shoes. I brushed my hair, untangling the tangled strands and applied a little powder, kajal and my nude lip gloss. I kept my phone in my bag and other stuff and took my shades. I went out of my room, and saw mom watching TV.
'You got up? Where are you going?' She asked.
'I'm going to McDonald's with Haniya. I'll have my breakfast there'.
'Okay. Don't be out for long. Come home quick' she said worried.
'Chill mom. We'll just have breakfast, then I'll come back. Don't worry okay?' I assured her,as my phone beeped again, and I saw Haniya's text.
'Haniya's here. I have to go now' i said. She nodded and kissed my forehead.
'Allah Hafiz' I said,leaving.
'Allah Hafiz' she replied.
I went out and greeted her.
'Hey' I said.
'Hi. Kuch ziada hi khush lagrahi hou' she said cheekily.
'Speak for yourself' I winked and she chuckled. 'Sudharja Beghairat'
'Oh,look who's talking' she said,widening her eyes.
I laughed and played our favorite song 'kamli'.
'Katrinaaaa' she said dreamily.
'Huh? I thought you were straight' I gasped, backing off.
'Ew. My only female crushes are the dhoombros.'
'Yeah, especially Hussain' I snorted.
'Shut up' she blushed.
We reached there, and Haniya locked her car and we went it. We ordered sausage burgers and roast coffee for ourselves.
'Wese yaar,Shehry was looking like a dynamite last night' I said, dreamily.
'Oh,and my Hussain was looking no less' she boasted. Our food arrived and we dug right in. I was blowing in my coffee to cool it down a little.
'Hey did you saw what Minsa wore...' I trailed off, looking at Haniya. She had her eyes glued behind me with her mouth slightly open. I followed her gaze and my jaw dropped too. Shehry was sitting, not far from our table, chatting away happily with a girl. That girl had her back on us. Shehry got up to the counter for payment and she got up too. As he was about to leave, she eyed him flirteously and hugged him. My eyes stung with tears. He left and that girl too grabbed her bag to go the counter. Her phone fell off her bag and she hurriedly bend to pick it up. She went to the counter, payed and turned towards the exit. As she turned ,we could see her full from the front, surprising Haniya while giving ME the biggest shock of my life. It was Minsa.
