Hirat's POV:
I was flooding with emotions. Excitement, nervousness and terrible sadness, and that's mainly because I am about to leave my family. Why,just WHY a girl, who is so used to her family and their presence, has to leave EVERYTHING behind, just for the sake to start a new life with her in-laws. I mean, that's so not fair! Her room, her bed,and even her place in dining table, her washroom and her every single nook has to be left behind. As if she's already dead. But Hirat, you're misjudging God's will. Its all his planning for your best and you're being so ungrateful. Is this the way to behave when he granted you with the best of everything? My inner voice scolded me and I immediately begged for His forgiveness. But this is so heartbreaking. I can't stand this!
This is all about life. Life isn't fair,Hirat. Learn to adjust in it. You don't want your parents in pain,do you? Putting my parents in pain is the last thing I'll ever do in my life. I was busy fighting my emotions when I felt a hand placed on my shoulder. I turned teary eyed and saw Haya, she too was flooding with tears. Without saying a single word,we pulled each other into a bone breaking hug,and sobbed quietly,no words needed.
Haya's POV:
I was in the kitchen, helping myself with a glass of water. I felt like breaking down this instant. I wanted to hide Hirat somewhere and stop her from going anywhere. I can't believe I won't have my Hirat with me anymore. I won't have any one to fight over for food,or for shopping,or for TV remote, or for the socket to charge our phones. I'll have the whole room, all by myself, but somehow, I wasn't happy. I felt sad. Extremely sad. I couldn't hold in my emotions. I couldn't bear it. I left my glass on slab and ran to hug my sister for one last time. As I reached my room's door,I took a deep, deep breath and entered. Hirat had her back at me and tears started to flow from my eyes rapidly. I gathered courage and slowly walked up towards her and put my hand on her shoulder. She slowly looked up with her bloodshot eyes. I couldn't hold in anymore. We crashed into a hug and I felt like as if somebody has turned on the hose pipe of my eyes. We cried silently and holded each other for one last time.
We didn't realized how much time passed and we both felt a hand on our shoulders. We both looked up and saw mom standing. We instantly stood and shared a group hug. She patted our backs and said,' Stop crying too much, beta. Its destiny. It is destined to happen. Hirat beta, you have to reach parlor now. Get ready. I've packed your bag. And Haya, you also freshen yourself. You dont want to look pale at the wedding, do you?'
I nodded and Hirat Api said 'jee mama' in barely more than a whisper and left. I settled myself in my bed and snuggled with my pillow, and dozzed off. After few hours, mama woke me up. I yawned and headed straight to washroom and took a quick shower. I changed into my black masterpiece and dried my hair. I tied it in a lose ponytail to do the makeup first. I applied my base, liquid foundation, and a face powder. After getting done with my base,I applied my eyeliner, mascara, kajal and an eye shadow. After getting done with my eye makeup, I applied blush on and a shocking pink shade on my lips and finished it with the coat of clear lip gloss. My makeup was finally done. I then opened my hair and lose curled it from the ends. I kept all my hair on one side and then started wearing my jewelry. I applied a lot of my perfume, wore my heals and I was finally done. Mom yelled from downstairs and I hurriedly picked up my phone and went downstairs. We,sat in the car,and headed towards the parlor to picked Hirat. Gosh, she was looking gorgeous as hell! Hashim Bhai ki tou lag gayi aj. I chuckled internally.
Shehry's POV:
I was ironing my clothes and those three idiots were fighting as usual for the bathroom.
'Dude, are you seriously ironing your tie?' Hussain pulled a disgusted face.
'Yeah' I replied shortly.
'Who does that?' Atif asked,surprised.
'I do'
'Then iron your chaddi also. Aur meri bhi kardena' Waqas retorted from the bathroom and the three of them broke into guffaws.
'Yeah,very funny' I replied sarcastically.
I hanged my clothes in a hanger and placed in a corner.
I went to take a shower and all of them did the same. We changed and I applied gel. I wanted to look extraordinary tonight. Not for her. And not for myself either, but... Urgh, never mind. I was just a little too enthusiastic of my dressing for tonight. We went downstairs. Mom,Dad and Maha were going in their car while we four were supposed to go in Waqas's mustang. Mom was getting something in her room, while Waqas was having a phone call from khurram Bhai,so both the party had to wait. I was lost in my thoughts as Maha said cutely,'why are you smiling bhai?'
The two of them snickered as I turned crimson, while dad looked amused as well.
'N-nothing Maha. Just remembered a joke' I lied.
'Really Bhai? What is it?' She asked innocently.
'Oh,its just from one of the Dolly Aunty videos' I said hurriedly.
'Oh,I see' she smiled, and I smiled back. Phew. Mom came from her room and Waqas ended the call as well. We sat in our cars, and the two of them smirked and I rolled my eyes. 'Another word for Haya and I'll skin you people alive' I glared at them.
'Hey,we never said a thing about her. Tu khud hi naam leraha hai uska' Atif said smiling slyly.
'Sharmana tou dekhou inka. Haye tenu pra assi badteesi naal sadqay jaye' Hussain flaunted his Punjabi.
'Wait a minute, what's going on?' Waqas asked suddenly.
'Nothing man, Shehry's just been smiling a lot.' Hussain smirked.
'Oh. I see' Waqas smirked even more, and turned on the music. I rolled my eyes as the music started.
Pehli nazar Mai aesa jadu kardiyaaa
'Dude,seriously?' I yelled.
They broke into guffaws and, I changed the song, and played Kamli. Hayee Katrina.
We reached the hall and grabbed a table near the stage. After a while, everyone in the hall stood up. I turned around to see whats up and saw the bride coming, accompanied by her girls. My eyes shifted randomly to the girl standing next to her and my jaw dropped and eyes got widened.
Haya's POV:
Me and Haniya stood on either side of Hirat and took her in,along with few other close ladies. My eyes searched every nook of the hall for that one person and finally landed on him who,as unexpected as it seems, was already starring at me. I couldn't move my gaze away from him. From his perfectly gelled hair, to his perfect eyebrows, his dreamy brown eyes, and sexy jawline to his clothes hugging him in just the right places,I just couldn't look away. A loud cough made me jump and I came back to my senses. I looked away, turning crimson. As Hirat coughed a few more times,I lightly pushed her and she giggled and we moved forward, towards the stage.
Shehry's POV:
I couldn't move my gaze away from her,and suddenly a low singing made me jump.
'Baar baar dekho hazar baar dekho,
Yeh dekhnay ki cheez hai...' They couldn't continue as I began tickling all two of them. 'Shut the eff up now!' I yell whispered at them. Wait, all TWO of them? Hun teesra khota kithay? As I saw Hussain gaping at Haniya,I smiled, shaking my head. I eye gestured the two of them, and all three of us began teasing Hussain so badly, so that all he could do was to blush, and yell whisper 'Shut up, shut up' all in a chain.
