Haya's POV:
'Okay, now this is something extremely fishy. How can someone just push you in your own room, locking you? Plus your mom and dad went missing without informing you. Also,Minsa apologizing. I'm not saying all of this is connected, but don't you think there is something fishy going on?' Haniya said thoughtfully.
'I know, but this is not all. Mom is hiding something from me,I know it. Her face just shows it all.' I said, remembering her face every time she's alone.
'You know what? You shouldn't let this matter go any farther. Keep your eyes and ears open. Keep an eye on your parents- what?' She got startled as I shot her a look.
'Nothing' I said, smirking.
'Tch,God,Haya!' She slapped my arm,annoyed.
'What? Your thinking is so freaking vulgar, then what's my fault in it?' I said innocently and she rolled her eyes. 'Yeah, you have no fault in it,I'm sure'.
'Anyways,be alert. That's all I'm saying' she snapped her book shut, stuffing it in her bag.
'Yo,where to?' I grabbed her hand.
'Washroom. Wanna tag along?' She said, annoyed.
'No thanks. I'm still straight' I rolled my eyes.
I pondered over the matter while Haniya had gone. I couldn't think straight. What on earth is happening at my back?
Hirat's POV:
'Hirat beta,Kuch tou lo' Hashim's mom said, worried.
'Nahi bas mama. Kuch khanay ka dil Nahi karraha.'
'Kiyun beta khairyat tou hai?'
'Bas Ammi ajeeb sa feel horaha hai. Thora dizzy feel horaha hai'
'Tou beta araam karlo na. Hashim beta, take her to your room and let her rest' mom called Hashim who was busy gorging his lunch. Bhooka tareen insan. Biwi ki tou fikkar hi nahi issay.
'Jee mama. Chaliye madam' he said with cute sarcasm and I rolled my eyes.
He helped me get up and I reached the first stair when I suddenly felt really dizzy.
'Hashim,I- '
'HIRAT!'
Hashim's POV:
It's been fifteen minutes since the nurse took her to the emergency room and left me to die her with extreme tension.
'Mr Hashim?' A voice called. I hurriedly turned.
'Yes?' I said hurriedly.
'Come with me' she said flatly and turned to leave.
'Doctor! Wait! How is she?!'
She ignored me completely and I was close to flare up.
'Doctor! How-
'Take a seat,Mr Hashim' She said calmly, pointing towards a chair near her.
'But-
'Take a seat,Mr Hashim'
'But my wi-
'I insist, Mr Hashim'. She glared at me through her rimmed glasses and I had no option, except to take seat.
'So,your wife-
'Is she-
'3 weeks'.
'What?!' I blurted out, as my whole body trembled.
'Wait, what?' I asked again.
'You heard it right' she said flatly.
'Is she- she's not,is she?' I asked with my eyes popping out of their sockets.
'Yeah, she is,and- Mr Hashim!' I cut her off,by leaving my chair upside down on the floor and rushed to hug her.
'Thank you thank you thank you so much!' I almost shrieked with excitement when I heard a giggle, which could not be heard by a women in her forties.
Hirat's POV:
I was already having so much problem controlling my laughter while listening to his curiosity and the doctor's irritation. 'Thank you thank you thank you so much' I couldn't control my emotions and let out a sudden giggle, which was loud enough to be heard by the people inside the room. I could hear the footsteps getting closer and the door swung open, presenting the doctor, smiling slightly and my husband grinning his idiotic wide grin. He offered me a hand and and as I took it,he lifted me up and pulled me into a bone-crashing hug. We stayed in the moment until we heard a loud cough.
'Ehm,but we have few other patients waiting. I've given your husband the prescription and you can continue your moment later' she said, smiling thinly.
'Oh sure we will. Thanks, doc' Hashim winked at him as I rolled my eyes. We bid our goodbyes and headed towards our car.
'Hirat?' He said.
'Hm?'
'Thanks'
'For what?'
'For gifting me the best thing in the world. For making me the happiest man in the world. For making me this much blessed' he said with utmost sincerity. I couldn't utter a word, except to smile inspite of the tears streaming in my eyes.
'Hirat?'
'Yeah?'
'I love you'
'I know' I said and he made a face.
'Tum Kuch Nahi kahogi?' He asked and I shook my head.
'Fine'
'I love you more' I whispered.
'Awaz nahi ai' he teased.
'I love you more, idiot!' I yelled near his ear and he chuckled, pulling me towards him again.
'I know'.
