Haya's POV:
Okay,Yeh sooraj kahan say nikla? I mean,I must be dreaming. Yes,I'm really dreaming, cause Minsa cannot simply apologize for her shitty acts with Shehry. Well, why do I really care? Oh yeah, because I love him. Or do I?
'Haya?' I was startled by a voice.
'Kahan khogayi?' Minsa asked, concerned. I then realized that I was daydreaming, while spooning my curry and rice carelessly.
'What? Oh. Kahin nahi. Bas asay hi' I smiled, and took a bite,to clear the frown on her face. She smiled back and continued to eat, puzzling me to death. Okay, maybe she really has changed. And I'm just over thinking. Maaf tou kardia hai issay, but all the same,I cannot trust her just yet. I need to judge her, which is important.
'But why?' My inner mind demanded.
'Because she's not that trustworthy, of course'
'Who are you to judge her? Moreover, why do you care if she glues herself to Shehry, or to any other guy. Shehry never confessed his love for you,did he?'
'Yes,but-'
'And he didn't even informed you of his departure. You know why, because he never loved you. You guys were not even friends properly. Till then,Minsa has full right over him'
'But he hates her!' Or,does he?
I suddenly felt full. And nauseating. Was I that desperate for him? Did he really never loved me? Let alone attracted to me? I dropped my spoon with a clank and wiped my mouth with a napkin. Meanwhile, Minsa's mom came to pick her,so we bid our goodbyes. This time, warmly. But my head was spinning. I ran towards my room to ring Haniya straight away. I need to get this shit get sorted straight away.
Shehry's POV:
'And you know what?! She is her legit daughter! Like wow. He'll kick me outta his company if he'll have the slightest information that I dated his daughter once. Well, not dated exactly, but still'
'Tch tch. How sad. Very bad' He faked a pitying expression.
'Chal chor. Yeh bata, how's that girl?' He smirked his annoying smirk and I rolled my eyes.
'She's just a random girl,Hussain. And don't you dare think about her. Meri job ka maamla hai Bhai. No joke' I narrowed my eyes at him. 'And by the way.' I continued. 'I thought you liked Haniya?'
'Well, yeah' he admitted. 'But I didn't get to see her for ages'
'So,you'll forget her if only you didn't get to see her for ages?' I scrunched my nose at him. 'How mature'
'I'd say the same for you' he said casually and I don't know why, but a huge pit dropped to my stomach.
'What do you mean?' I played innocent.
'You know exactly what I mean, Shehry. Did you even informed her that you left for Pak? I thought she's at least your friend?' His words made me really guilty, and I regretted doing that to her.
'You know what? I'll call her tonight'
'You should. And aik baat puchun? Do you really love her?' He asked seriously.
'I don't know' I said, startling myself a bit. 'In fact,I don't think so. I've been with her for few months. Or in short, since Hashim's wedding. We met again for few times again, and maybe had the best time together, but we were not alone. And she was a good friend, that's all. I don't think I love her'
'Are you sure?' He said,concerned.
'Yes' I admitted.
'Pakka?'
'Haan na'
'Qasam kha?'
I made a horrible poker face that got him laughing his ass off. Pervert.
