Haya's POV:
'Shehry?!' I gasped in shock. 'What're you doing here?'
'Well,I sensed that you weren't feeling good and I was awake too,so I thought why not come and give you some company? Akhir dost hun, itna tou karsakta hun na' He winked, making my heart stop.
'But Shehry- ' He cut me off,
'No buts. I knew that you wouldn't be asleep. Akhir meray walay germs hain tumharay andar'
'Huh?' I blinked, confused.
'Aik daffa dad bohot bemaar par gaye thay. Hussain aur mai bohot chotay thay. Mom was pregnant with Maha, so we made her rest. Hussain and I couldn't sleep too,so we gave dad his medicines and tucked him to sleep. We stayed at his side till morning. I made breakfast for him and mom and Hussain helped dad freshen up. I knew that you would be awake too,so I thought of coming here for a while and maybe console you up?' He said with a smile and I felt like breaking down that instant.
'Shehry, that's... That's so kind of you. I just don't know what to say. I-' he again cut me off.
'Uffhoo. Aik tou qasam say thank you thank you bolkay thakti Nahi hou tum. You're tiring my poor ears' he made a face and I laughed.
'Does anyone knows you're here? Hussain,at least?'
'Nope. Everyone in the house is fast asleep. They won't wake up till fajar' he then glanced at his wrist watch '1:15am. Three hours left. Plenty of time till fajar'
'Two hours' I cut him off. 'Two hours till you reach home, otherwise its up to you if you want your mum or worse, your dad to open the door at fajar'
He chuckled' yeah, two hours it is' 'So... Let's just, sit?' I said awkwardly.
'Yeah. Night breeze is my drug' he said dreamily.
'Mine too' I smiled and closed my eyes, enjoying the breeze.
Hussain's POV:
I huffed,as I changed my side uncomfortably. Where's my pillow? I sighed annoyingly ran my arm furiously at my bed.
'Shehry yar, takiya dou mera' I moaned in my sleep and began searching with my arm for his perfectly built body. The bed was empty and no pillows were to be felt. I squinted my eyes open and called out lazily 'Shehry!!!'
No replies.
'Shehry!!' I called out louder this time. No replies again. I sat up upright. 'Shehry?!' I called for one last time before getting up from bed. The room was pitch dark except for the moonlight that entered the room from our French windows. I got up from the bed and made my way cautiously to the switchboard. I turned on the light and squinted as light pinched in my eyes. The bedsheet was all messed up and all the pillows were on the floors. I made my bed first, then knocked on the bathroom door.
'Shehry, are you in there?' I called out and again,no one replied. I opened the bathroom door and saw that it was all empty. I came out of my room and looked in the kitchen, Maha's room, and even in the backyard. I was beginning to get tensed. Saala, kahan margaya!? I got back in my room and begun to look for his phone. Thank God phone tou lekar gaya Hai. Saala wapas ae,aesi maar parwaunga na dad say ainda itni raat ko bahar janay ka sochay ka bhi nahi.
I dialed his number and waited. After about 3 to 4 rings,he picked up.
Shehry's POV:
'That's what you get for messing up my hair' I smirked as she huffed annoyingly, fixing her hair which I had turned into a fur ball a minute ago.
'Whatever' she muttered and I chuckled again. Suddenly, my phone vibrated, scaring me out of wits as I glanced at the caller ID. Hussain. Damn! Ab tou tu gaya,Shehry.
I picked up the phone, and said a rather shaky 'hello'.
'Yeh lain abbu utha liyay phone usnay' Hussain said from the other side. Every inch of my body became numb and my hands and feet turned cold.
'A-abbu' I croaked.
'Abbu Kay bachay. Where are you?!' Hussain yell whispered.
'Sain! Sain abbu ko tou...' I begun saying but he cut me off.
'Sorahay hain sab. And where the hell are you? Itni raat ko bataye baghair? Agar koi uth jata tou?!' He scolded.
'Sorry yar woh actually mai Haya k pass hun. I'll explain you everything when I'll come home but please, abhi kay liyay bakhsh dou mujhay. Fajar say aik ghanta pehlay ajaunga' I pleaded.
'Wait,Haya k ghar pay? Kia scene hai Bhai, bataun Atif aur Waqas ko?' He smirked and I facepalmed myself.
'Sain, aik daffa ghar ajanay dou mujhay, sab kuch samjhadunga' I said forcefully, giving extra force on 'sab kuch'.
'Whatever. I'm going back to sleep. Spare Keys haina ghar ki?'
'Haan hain'
'Tou bas phir khud ajana andar and DO NOT DISTURB. Warna Abbu say tera murder pakka' he threatened me and I rolled my eyes.
'Yeah yeah. Go sleep. Good night'
'Aik baat sun?'
'Bhonk'
'Keep it halal' he whispered mischievously and I turned red.
'Teri ki tou... Shut the hell up!' I yell whispered at him.
'Haha fine, Good night'
'Good night' I hunged up with a sigh and turned around to see her sleeping peacefully on the soft grass. She looked like an absolute angel while sleeping like this. I smiled idiotically but it instantly faded as it clicked me that I have to carry her to her room. I dropped to my knees and picked her up. Not that heavy, but still. I walked into her house and carefully climbed the stairs. I opened the first door that came into my view and opened it. There were two beds and one of them was already occupied. It must be Haniya. I layed her on the other bed and pulled the duvet over her. I turned around to go,but then stopped. I turned back to her, bent myself and softly pecked her forehead, making my insides explode. Smirking to myself, I left the room, closing the door behind me.
