(This song 'Teray hokay rahaingay' fits perfectly with the situation).
Haya's POV:
I mentally facepalmed myself as I kept embarrassing myself frequently. Great Haya, just great. Way to embarrass yourself on your very first encounter with him. I kept cussing myself till I noticed Haniya. She's been very quiet during the whole function. Inspite of the fact that I was still in shock because of Shehry, I still managed to tease her.
'Oey,basanti' I nudged her.
'Kya hai Haya' she said annoyed. Ha! How I love teasing her.
'Pyaar hai Haniya' I said mischievously.
'Oey,I told you I'm not like that anymore!' She backed off,and as we realized we coincidentally copied the Dolly Aunty dialogue,we burst out laughing.
'Haya beta' mom called me.
'Coming mom!' I excused Haniya and went to mom.
She was sitting with few ladies. She introduced me to them.
'Yeh hai meri choti beti,Haya. Haya, they're Hashim's aunts'
'Assalam-o-Alaikum' I greeted them politely.
'Wa Alaikum Assalam' they replied.
'Haye Allah, inni sohni kuri hai' one of them said rather snobbishly.
'MashaAllah bolo Sadia' another aunty said. I raised my eyes into her direction, and my jaw dropped. Gosh, she's Mrs Asif! Shehry's mom. No wonder she's all different from the other typical aunties. They seriously took my entire biography. While I was answering their never ending questions, a deep voice interrupted them.
'Mom,they're calling you for the 'rasams' ' he said.
I turned and found myself face to face with none other than Shehry. My breath hitched in my throat and my stomach started doing flip flops. We were starring into each other until another deep voice coughed. I jumped and looked away, turning crimson. It was Hussain. 'Mom,they're..' He started saying but Shehry interrupted. 'I already told her. We're coming'.
'Oh,well, guess I shouldn't have came then' smirked Hussain slightly. Shehry glared at him while I blushed even more madly.
I excused the aunties and headed straight to Haniya with my palms sweating and knees quivering. The brave, stubborn Haya, getting nervous as heck. Urgh,Shehry. Look what you did to me.
Hussain's POV:
I saw Haya leaving her friend alone on the table while she used her phone. Shehry Mai tou guts hain nahi kay Haya say baat karay, mai tou at least baat karlun uski friend say. I headed straight towards that girl.
'Hey' I said
She looked up and her eyes widened.
'Uh.. Umm.. Hey.' She stammered.
Fan hi hogi. Tabhi itni nervous hai.
'Um.. Can I sit here?'
'Sure' she gestured to an empty seat near her.
'What's your name?'
'Haniya'
'And my..'
'Hussain, I know' she smiled. Man,her smile. Such innocence, I swear.
I smiled back.
'So, you're Hirat's sister?'
'I'm her cousin. Her sister is Haya, over there' she pointed her finger towards the Aunty's table.
'Poor her, she's getting tortured by the aunties' she giggled
'Nah,my mom's there too. She won't bother her'
'Really? That's nice' she commented
'So,what do you..' I was about to ask her something, but her eyes widened as she looked behind me. I turned back, and followed her gaze. I chuckled instantly. Shehry was torturing Haya with his hotness there.
'He's so torturing her' she chuckled.
'I'll take care of that' I winked and went to Shehry.
'Uhm' I cleared my throat, and poor Haya was scared out of her wits, while Shehry glared at me.
'Mom,they're..' I started saying but Shehry interrupted. 'I already told her. We're coming'.
'Oh,well, guess I shouldn't have come then' I smirked slightly and walked away or else he would've skinned me alive right on the spot.
I grinned at Haniya while she shaked her head, mouthing 'that was rude'. I didn't wanted the aunties to make tales of their 'eye to eye chemistry',otherwise I wouldn't have disturbed their little 'moment'.
Hirat's POV:
I was trying so hard to control the chuckles, that were trying their best to escape my mouth. I witnessed the whole Haya and Shehry, aaand, Haniya and Hussain's moment. Hayee,I can't wait to tell Hashim. I mean, they waited for ages to meet them, and now, they're standing just few feet away from them. When something is destined to happen,no power in the world can stop it from happening. I smiled at my mother's words and thanked God under my breath for blessing us with something more than we deserve.

The function ended really late with amidst laughter, music, and all the 'mithai wali rasmai' and best of all, when the Asif Family blended on very well with the Ali family. It was truly as great night for everyone, well except for one person who was sitting on the nook of the hall, clenching her jaws with her hell of a son,Shiraz.
