Haya's POV:
'AAARGHHHHHHH' I screamed at the top of my lungs, not caring about the surroundings,or anyone outside my room,as I was stressed enough to worry about literally anything.
No,this can't be happening. It's just a bad dream. A really really bad dream, that's it. I'll just wake up in a while, and it will be all over. All over. I promise. As I was busy thinking crap, like a total psychopath, a sudden banging on the door startled me and I sat straight, as the door flung open, revealing my 'mom'.
'Tayyar nahi Hui tum?' She glared at me. I stared at her face with disbelief with my bloodshot eyes, and she clenched her jaws.
'Tumhari Phupo bahar kabsay bethin hain aur tum yahan nadian baha rahi ho?! Go get dressed this instant or I'll drag you downstairs in your current attires. You have just ten minutes' she snarled and turned, shutting the door with a bang behind her, while I dropped my head on my hands again. Ten minutes. All I've got is ten n minutes and whatever I've got to do,I've to do it now. Then it hit me. I raced to my door, locking it. I took out my mini suit case, which I used in for my school trip. I stuffed in my few clothes, some important stuff which I'll be needing afterwards and a credit card. I zipped it and took it off the bed. I hurriedly washed my face, changed into my jeans,a sweatshirt and a hoody. I brushed my hair in three rapid strokes and tied my sneakers. Grabbing my mini suitcase, I reached my window and looked down. I gulped and took the suitcase and threw it from my window. I watched with my heart on my mouth as it landed with a thud behind the bush. I waited for few minutes, hearing for anything suspicious. When I was fully relieved that no one heard that,I prayed internally. I'm not running away from the house. I'm just saving myself from this injustice, this cruelty. I'll come back, as soon as my parents will realize what exactly are they doing to their daughter for the sake of money. I'm not wrong here. Please help me with my escape and take me anywhere safe. Sighing deep,I climbed the windowsill.
Hadeeqa(Haya's mom)'s POV:
'Ai nahi tumhari sahibzadi abhi tak' Razia raised her eyebrows, smirking.
'Aa jaegi. Larki hai, tayyar honay mai time lagta hai' I said sharply.
'Hunh. Dekhtay hain kitna tayyar hokar aati hai' she said rolling her eyes evilly and I wanted to strangle her to death this instant.
'Ajae gi woh bhi. Papers tayyar rakho tum'
'Haan haan papers bhi tayyar hain. Kiyun Shiraz?' She exchanged a smirked with her hell of a son beside her and I frowned.
'Hadeeqa, dekh kar ao Haya ko kahan reh gayi hai. Kaafi time hogaya hai' Ali said, curtly.
'Jee' I managed to utter and got up. Please be brave,Haya. I mentally prayed. As I took one step of the stairs,I could literally feel myself shiver. Shiver with fear. And despair. I'm the only mother who's writing her own daughters fate with her own hands. And guess what she filled it up with? Tears. She thinks we're doing it for money. But she's wrong. Our daughter thinks money holds importance more than her in our lives. In our hearts, yet little did she know is that we're doing it all for all our live's sake. I took rapid steps to her door and knocked.
'Haya?' I knocked again.
'Haya? Open up this instant!' I raised my voice. I knocked more harshly but no reply. I was beginning to get tensed and sweat filled my palms.
'Ali? Ali uper ain' I called down. I rushed downstairs. They all looked at me.
'Ali Haya darwaza nahi kholrahi'. I said and Ali rose, terror struck while Razia and Shiraz exchanged looks of glee. All they care about is our despair and their damn money. Oh sorry,OUR money, slyly taken away from us.
'Haya darwaza kholo' I could hear Ali knocking her door, and calling her sternly. Then a horrible thought struck my mind. I clasped my hand to my mouth and gasped loudly. Tears were threatening to fall down any time now. What if she- what if she tried to- k-kill... No!! No no no!! Hell,no!!
'Step aside you!' I shoved Ali aside and began beating the shit out of her door.
'HAYA OPEN THE DOOR!' I screamed while banging hard. I suddenly stopped short. Turned. Looked Ali in the face with my eyes bloodshot. I made a quick attempt and grabbed his collar.
'Kholo darwaza ab. Tordou kuch bhi karou. Tumhi ki Marzi say huwa na? Tumhari waja say huwa hai Yeh sab Kuch. Torou darwaza ab aur agar meri Haya ko kuch bhi huwa na,tumhai aur tumhari behen ko hawalaat(jail) mai phaink dungi' I screamed at his face and let go of him, breathing hard. He starred at me blankly and I looked away. Thinking of the trials which couldn't end sooner.
