Liam speeds inside Iron Heights and stands in front of a cell of a certain prisoner and he glares at them. The persons back facing them as they remain in the shadows, the boy spoke through gritted teeth, "You need to explain a lot of things."

"Yes, Liam." The voice spoke and Liam clenches his jaw. The person steps out the shadows to reveal Eobard Thawne but he looks like Wells, "You've been gone a long time, Liam."

"You're lucky I even came back." Liam spat, glaring daggers at the man in front of him.

"Really?" Eobard rose a brow and chuckles as he walks around his cell. He looks back at the boy and points at his face with a small smile, "You have that look- the same one your mother always had when she got angry. Or felt lied to. Go ahead Liam, ask."

"You killed my grandmother?" Liam asked.

"I did."

"In front of my mother?" Liam asked in disbelief, his hatred growing more.

"I did."

"Do you even know the feeling of losing someone you love?" Liam asked angrily, glaring daggers at the man.

"Liam-"

"She was just a kid!" Liam shouts cutting the man off, "A kid that needed her parents with her!"

"You're right, and I think of that moment every day, how it changed the course of destiny for her, for you, for me." Eobard said lowly.

Liam shook his head and he scoffs, "I didn't understand why she hated you so much. Her anger towards you, all that hatred, she never felt like that with anyone else but you. And now I understand why, because you ruined her life."

"And I have that same hatred inside of me for her!" Eobard states, "Or at least I did. I was inspired by her and your uncle, as you are. I wanted to know them, as you do. I wanted to be them. But I wanted so bad to be great as The Electric-Flash."

"You could dream all you want-" Liam laughs with a smirk and Eobard stares at him with a certain look, "-you will never be close to being a great hero like my mom or uncle. You will never be great as the Electric-Flash."

"Exactly! And that realization broke me." Eobard tells him, walking back to look at him, "That's the realization that led me to do the things that I did. The terrible, horrible, evil things I did."

"All this time, I came for your help-" Liam shook his head, "I should've just gave the guards another reason to punish you, like you deserve it."

"Liam, I thought you must've known." Eobard said and the young speedster rolled his eyes, "I though your father would've told you. I was wrong. I see that. I'm sorry, Liam."

"An apology doesn't change anything." Liam says.

"Have I not given you everything? The chance to go back and know a mother you never knew? Have the family you never had?" Eobard questions him and Liam looks away from him, "To learn from her? To run with the Electric Flash? I showed you how to time travel because I want to help you."

"No. The only person you help is yourself." Liam states with a look, "You don't do things for the good of your heart, you do it because you know there's something in it for you."
