𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 [𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐘 𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍] 𝟮

-𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗦-

[AFRAID― THE NEIGHBOURHOOD]

The team starts recovering from the event that happened moments ago. Barry groans softly and starts sitting up but winces when he notices shards of glass on his side. He takes it out with a small whimper, laying back on the floor.

Killer Frost sits up, "You guys okay?"

"Yeah." Iris groaned, slowly starting to get from her spot.

Barry grabs hold of the railings to help him up, leaning against them as he places a hand over his wound to help him out. He inhales sharply and shakes his head, "That wasn't Y/N or Ethan."

"Yeah, it was." Killer Frost replies, "Ramsey turned them into one of his blood siblings."

Cisco stood up from the ground, quick to run to where Y/N's suit will usually be displayed and took a tile from the wall, pressing some buttons and then pulls down a lever, a voice echoed, "Babel Protocols initiated."

"What's Babel Protocols?" Killer Frost questioned, "I thought that was just some defence stuff that you added to Y/N's suit."

"That was version one." Cisco walks over to the computer, "Version 2.0 puts up a force field around Star Labs."

"Nothing gets in, nothing goes out― not even our coms." Cisco explained, "I built them just in case― just in case our heroes went dark."

"Y/N said that Ramsey gave her and Ethan a choice." Barry crosses his arms, deep in thought, "Why would they choose this?"

Killer Frost shrugs lightly, "Maybe they decided eternal life was better than dying in Crisis."

"Ramsey's using Y/N and Ethan." Cisco exhaled deeply, staring at the empty broken case that once held Lightning Storm suit, "And whatever he's having them do, he's got a plan."

Barry glances over at Killer Frost, him being seated behind the console as he raised a brow, "Since when do you have a police scanner?"

Killer Frost continued to change the channels as it goes static, "I'm hoping that since this thing transmits in analog, we can figure out what's going on outside Star Labs."

"I don't get it." Iris shook her head, "Why didn't Ramsey just have Ethan and Y/N kill us as soon as they woke up?"

"Wanted to keep it an act." Barry suggested, shrugging his shoulders.

"That could definitely be a reason, but don't count us out yet― you know that tech I've been working on?" Cisco walks back in and holds out a device, "Meet the Photon Emitter."

Killer Frost walks back to the group, "So what, you built a ray gun?"

"It's not a ray gun, it's a weapon that can deliver megadoses of photon radiation." Cisco clears out, "The same kind of radiation typically administered to cancer patients."

"What exactly does it do?" Barry asked.

"My theory is that these photons could be strong enough to destroy Ramsey's scientist infection." Cisco explained, "If I get close enough to blast him, he should revert back to his human form― he'd still have HLH, but at least he wouldn't be a gooey zombie overload anymore."

"What about everyone else that was infected?" Iris asked, "Would they be cured?"

"Yes." Cisco answered, "They'd lose the goo, they'd go back to normal."

"But since Ramsey's the only one who can create more Blood Brother and Sisters, I say we hit him first." Cisco adds on, "Then Dark Electric-Flash and Lightning Storm."
