[FLARES- THE SCRIPT]

Y/N sighs softly, the team is all seated inside the Lounge and she looks between her friends, "Trust me, I've seen them all, okay? There's no other choice but the one I'm telling you guys."

Cisco leaned against the couch with his elbows, "And you're both okay with this?"

"No." Ethan replied honestly, "But I have to accept it. We have to, we'll do this in a heartbeat if it means saving you guys. Saving everyone we love."

"Guys listen-" Barry spoke up, wrapping an arm around Y/N and holding her close, "Six weeks from now, all of our lives are going to be on the line, so we have to be prepared."

"Yes, but what about them?" Cisco points to his best friends, "I'm not just gonna wait around for you two to get vaporized by anti-matter. We should be doing something to try and save their lives."

"You can't." Y/N said softly and Cisco looks away from her, standing from his spot, "I'm telling you that there's nothing you can do. That's why I'm telling you― we're telling you to stop worrying about us."

"If Y/N and Ethan had any other options, we'd be doing it." Killer Frost exhales deeply, "I think you gotta get behind this."

"Yeah― I am." Cisco huffs and walks away.

Ethan shakes his head, staring at the ground, "How do you convince your best friend not to save your life?"

Frost looks at him, "You're the teacher. You'll find a way."

Barry's phone buzzed as he checked it out, "Yeah, well, I have to head to CCPD. See you later."

"Bye." Y/N mutters, looking at him with a small smile. Barry leans in to press a small kiss on her lips before getting up from his seat and walking off.

Ethan's phone then goes off as he checks it out, "And we have to go too. We have a meeting in ten minutes."

"Right." Y/N stands up from her seat, "We still have a company to run. We'll try to get the whole best friend situation later."

Ethan looks at Iris with a soft smile, holding her hand before getting up from his seat and starts walking off with Y/N, the two leaving the lab.

"Yes, of course, thank you." Ethan smiles, walking out of the room with Y/N as the two breathe out a deep breath and the archer frowns, "That was boring." 

"Borning?" Y/N scoffs softly, glancing at him with a raised brow, "There has to be a worse term for boring, I literally doze off when he began talking about the beautiful nature of computer science."

"So the beginning?" Ethan laughs softly, glancing at her.

"Yeah." Y/N admits with a small smile.

"But for a guy that talks a lot, he did make a very good point." Ethan points out, the two walking into his office as he grabs his sweater, "I think I know how to get through to Cisco. To Star Labs we go."

Y/N hums in response as she grabs him but makes sure no one's around before speeding to Star Labs, they walk into the Lounge to wait for him. Once he walks in, Cisco looks at them, "I got your message. What is it now?"

"I know you're upset about this Crisis situation and today got me thinking, you're right." Ethan starts off, "We can do more than prepare for a fight, you can save a life."

The girl furrowed her brows as she turns to look at her brother with a questionable expression. Cisco broke into a smile, "I knew you both come around."
