𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄 [𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐘 𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍] 𝟮

-𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗩𝗢𝗜𝗗-

[DUMB- NIRVANA]

The alarms blared loudly causing two speedsters to rush in the cortex with confused expressions, not knowing what was going on.

"It's a system-wide power surge." Barry quickly rushes to the console as Y/N was quick to stand beside him. He types on the keyboard and pulls up the system diagnostic, the Time Vault glowing red.

"It's coming from the Time Vault." Y/N stared at the screen and shakes her head slightly, "We just came from there."

The computers, monitors and lights completely shut off.

Y/N and Barry both turn away from the screen, looking around the cortex instead as the girl questions, "What the hell is going on? Is someone trying to break-in?"

"I don't know." Barry looks at her, "Whatever's going on started the moment we left."

The two speedsters were quick to speed inside the Time Vault to notice Liam's video up, "For accepting me despite my mistakes. I love you two so much― I love you two so much― I love you two so much― I love you, I love you-"

It began to glitch before electricity crackled and the video cut off, sparks going everywhere. The speedster watched with a heartbroken expression― the plinth had completely fried as it began to smoke. Once the sparks died down, Barry was the first to make his way over as Y/N quickly followed after him, he reached in to grab drive.

"Watch out-" Y/N quickly warns him and he grabs it, hissing at the burning but quickly takes it out and places it on his palms, the two dread to see the drive completely destroyed.

The last thing they had to hold on to Liam was gone.

"Barr, Liam's message." Y/N mutters quietly, a frown coming on her lips.

Barry sighs softly, looking at her before he wraps his arms around her shoulder and pulls her close. The girl is quick to hold him as well, he placed a small kiss at the top of her head, staring at the destroyed plinth in front of them.

-FOUR MONTHS LATER-

LOCATION: JAPAN, TOKYO

The rainfall was heavy as the city was quiet tonight for the first time in awhile, a parked black SUV in front of a hotel as many other cars were parked near. A citizen was minding their own business, listening to music as they were walking at the opposite side of the street to make their destination. When all of a sudden, a body crashed down the black vehicle, crushing it as the windows shattered and many cars began to blare loudly.

The citizen jumps at the sound, looking at the scene with a shocked expression before quickly running out of the scene in horror, not wanting to turn back too afraid that they'll be next.

The man on top of the vehicle groaned loudly, gasping for air loudly as blood began to pour down his nose― his eyes wide open as he dared not close them.

The doors to the hotel building opened as a man ran out, a hand wrapped around their torso as they bled out. He caught sight of the man on top of the car, giving him another reason to run before it was him taking his last breath.

But before he could take another step further, a figure landed down on the car next to the SUV- dressed in all black as their eyes were seen from the mask they wore to cover them up. The person quickly removes the rope around their waist before they jump down to the ground, lifting up their hand to give them a small wave, a smirk forming on their lips under her mask.

He backed away, shaking his head as he already had tears streaming down his face― but the sound of someone landing right behind them stopped him right in his tracks. He turns around to see another figure with the same attire as they slowly tilt their head to the side to look at him.
