Origin: Jane Shepard's parents and brother joined up with the alliance military, but she was hesitant to join. As a child, Jane was raised alongside her older brother John on a sizable space station
When news came of John Shepard saving the galaxy from Sovereign, the rogue spectre Saren, and the army of geth, and John's death not long after, Jane decided to honor her brother by joining the alliance. Many dubbed her as the "New Shepard"
Jane follows her brother's example, being a paragon, being heroic and selfless. Using non-violent solutions whenever possible. That earned her a promotion to Commander, and she met up with a couple of her brother's old friends. Their names were Kaidan and Ashley
But Jane will get a chance to live up to her family's legacy now that the reapers are attacking

Galahad was a mercenary that was carrying out jobs since he was a teenager. He is very gifted with technology and engineering, using them to his advantage to accomplish his goals. He isn't necessarily evil, more neutral, but he isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. Which is exactly why Cerberus had a dossier on him, considering adding him to John Shepard's suicide squad
At some point, he crossed paths with a vigilante named Archangel, and he joined his team to help combat the mercenary groups of the terminus systems
After Shepard's suicide mission, Galahad abandoned cerberus. The alliance saw his potential as an asset, so they recruited him to work for them
