Who did you pick as your best overall squadmate combination in Mass Effect 3?

If we're strictly talking about gameplay, then I choose Garrus and Javik

Allow me to explain

Garrus can use assault rifles and sniper rifles, so he's very versatile in combat, while at the same time having a pretty good amount of shields and HP. As previously stated, Garrus has the overload ability, which I love using to take down the shields of tanky enemies. (If only it worked on Kai Leng). His concussive shot can stun enemies and buy you a small window of time to either fight back or fall back

Another thing that puts Garrus at the top for me is his pure damage output. Sure, he does have armor piercing ammo, which is pretty useful, but if you level up his damage instead of his health and shields, he ends up becoming insanely strong. If you ever have trouble, then you could probably take a second to reload and recharge your shields while Garrus shreds through the opposition

Javik has some funny lines, and is appreciated by the fanbase for them, but what really drew me in was his combat ability. His health and shield pool is good, and he uses assault rifles, but he combines that with biotic abilities, so he's effective against a lot of different types of enemies. His variety of biotic abilities is always fun to play around with

Javik's dark channel ability is unlocked pretty late into the game, but it's crazy fun to use, and in the right situation, it'll send everyone in the room into the next dimension

Together, Garrus and Javik are the perfect combo for my playthrough
