Cassian looked out at the vast hills reaching toward the Tree Kingdom. He always had to be ready for the worst, hostilities between all of the different Kingdoms was rising. While walking along the stone wall, he notices a single person walking over the hills over to their kingdom. A carriage was being dragged along with them. He walked down a winding tower and down to the gate to let the person into the Kingdom. After the gate had finally opened, Cassian approached the person.
"What's your order of business here in the Lion Kingdom?" Cassian inquired.
"I've come here to trade," came the response.
Cassian nodded, "You may proceed." [Instead of checking for proof they're a trader or checking their carriage, he just lets them in.] 7
Cassian proceeded to close the gate with the help of two of his fellow comrades. Heading back up the tower to continue his guard position, a messenger stopped him.
"Cassian, sir, the King requests to see you immediately."
Cassian looked at the Messenger, confused. "What would the king want to see me of all people?"
The Messenger shrugged, "I don't know sire, I was just ordered to tell you that the King wants you to see him."
Cassian nodded and went back down the tower he had just climbed. Anxiety slowly gained on him. What if the king was going to demote him? What if he was going to execute him? Did he even do something wrong? By the time Cassian had reached the entrance to the King's inner castle. Opening the door, he stepped in. His footsteps sounded on the stone floor.
"Hello?" Cassian called out.
"Is it Cassian?" another voice called back.
"Yes."
"Then come in."
Cassian looked around, until he spotted some people sitting at a table, all looking at him. He noticed the king sitting at the end.
"Come and sit with us." His king invited.
Cassian nodded and sat down at the far end of the table.
"We're discussing a battle plan." His king informed Cassian, "you might be wondering why we invited you of all people to such a meeting. But, for one, you're getting promoted to Marshal."
Cassian attempted to say "thank you", but felt to nervous to even walk.
"Now, let's get on with it." His king continued.

Cassian stared out across the vast plains. He was currently on his way to a Kingdom that he himself hated. He was leading a small group in a larger battalion to lead a raid on a village owned by the Dragon Kingdom. Cassian followed the Commanding Ensign in this mission. The entire group halted, Cassian followed. The Commanding Ensign stood in front of the rest of the battalion. He glared at every one of them. Then nodded, turning back down to face the hill. This is it. The raid. The Commanding Ensign raised his sword, then swung it down. Immediately the horses in front of him surged forward, Cassian followed with his sword in his hand, ready to strike. He saw the village begin to come into view as they went over the last hill and down into the village like the wave of an ocean crashing down on a beach. As soon as Cassian entered, he ducked his sword down to stab a person standing next to the charging mass of horses. Cassian immediately brought back his sword to not get it captured by a civilian who had figured out what was happening. Cassian charged right into the town square, bringing out a stick, he lit it on fire and threw it at the Mayor's House. The fire was small, but gained as more and more sticks where thrown into it. ["Where"] 8 Cassian leaped off of his horse and hit the stone floor. He blocked with his sword as a solider brought their sword down on him. Cassian ducked and spun the opposite direction and sliced downward across the Solider's chest. Rushing forward, Cassian kicked the Soldier to the ground, then stabbed him right through the chest. Cassian held his bloodied sword in his hand and charged at another solider guarding the Mayor who was attempting to flee the city. [This is a city now.] 9 Cassian brought his sword down on the solider's helmet, knocking it off sideways as Cassian moved in for another hit. [Mfw you bring your sword down and knock someone's helmet off sideways.] 10 In an instant, Cassian slid down on the ground and beside the solider next to the Mayor, stabbing him in the chest and then stabbing right into the Mayor's heart. Cassian side-kicked the solider who was defending the mayor, but had now failed. Removing his blade from the Mayor's chest, he threw his sword right into the stomach of the solider. [Cassian must have thicc muscles to be able to do this. Spoiler: he does not.] 11 The solider collapsed to the ground. Cassian picked up the solider's sword and used it to slice the stomach of another solider who was coming to help his now dead comrade. Cassian elbowed the neck of the solider, knocking him out, Cassian stabbed the back of the solider to ensure he was dead.
"Leave the city to burn!" His Commanding Ensign shouted above the noise of the fighting.
Cassian rushed over to his horse, just as he was getting on, a white blinding flash came across the sky. Cassian closed his eyes then opened them just as the flash disappeared. Was that a comet? Or a meteor? Cassian proceeded to climb up onto his horse and rode out of the scorching city.

Cassian looked up at the night sky. He breathed in the cool air, not to long ago, the light from the village they just burned had faded away, signaling the end of the burning city. Cassian had finally washed off the blood from his clothes. Cassian strolled over to the tower, only to fall into a hole of darkness.
