Chapter 10 - Searching Dawn

6 1 1

[Dawn is sentient. Spoiler: Not the character.] 516

Markus's eyes flung open, Cassian let out a deep sigh of relief. Markus so far was alive, and seemed to be well. [OMG I WAS SO WORRIED FOR MARKUS FOR A SECOND. TOTALLY NOT ABLE TO PREDICT THIS OUTCOME.] 517

Markus stood up slowly, pressing his hand against his forehead. "What happened?" Markus groaned.

"Well, simply, you where bit by a Lurker, became one, and now you are here." Ryker replied. [Oversimplification.] 518

"Huh, so what do we do now?" [Asks no questions.] 519

"Leave, head back to your place I guess."

"Fair enough." Cassian watched as Markus observed the area around him, and get onto the Winged Fox.

"By the way, Ryker, what happened to your arm?" Markus inquired. [It's great he mentioned a wound. But, he still ignores the multiple holes in Ryker AND Cassian.] 520

"A fight, that's all." Ryker replied. [Oversimplification pt. 2 electric boogaloo.] 521

Now that's more like Ryker. [Is it, though?] 522

Spark ascended to the sky, flying high above the trees as they stretched for miles on end, in all directions.

Cassian gazed at the trees as Spark began to move, faster and faster, through the forest. Zipping past forests and attempting to reach the edge of the land within 5 hours.

Cassian watched a running river stream through the forests, as they neared the entanglement of clouds overhead. Stretching out above, hiding the sun from view.

"How long has it been like this?" Cassian inquired.

"This I believe is permanent. The way the clouds are sitting here, forever sitting, never moving, changing colors." Ryker responded, "It's, well, not very interesting to say the least." [Uh, bullshit? Unmoving, RGB clouds would be fascinating. Also how many times must you iterate they do not move?] 523

Cassian nodded and looked out at the mountains in the distance reaching to the touch the sky with their points.

The clouds finally changed to the red color Cassian was used to, now begins the long journey to the Survivor Zone.

Cassian sighed, gazing out across the vast landscape. It would take them sometime to finally arrive, but in the end, it might as well be worth it.

Cassian noticed Ryker was seeming to become impatient. Although, he may have been considering teleporting them to the desired location. Wherever it would be, something that Markus had apparently decided to discuss with Ryker. Ryker, on the otherhand, was still trying to tend to his wounds he had in the fight with Vincent. [Ryker said earlier if he teleported non-magicians more than two times, their mind would break. He hasn't teleported them once, so why doesn't he teleport them? On another note, it took five hours for Ryker to start tending to his wounds. Five.] 524

Whilst Cassian had a bandage on the knife wound he had encountered in the fight with Vincent. It seemed as if everybody in this small group had been involved in fights. [Cassian simply has a bandage. No stitches. Nothing. Mind you, this is over a gaping wound in his chest. That shit ain't healing on it's own.] 525

The sun began to set over the horizon, Ryker, didn't seem to be stopping at all. Especially since Cassian remembered what Ryker said, so, I'm pretty sure Ryker didn't want to hurt his Winged Fox. [What did Ryker say?] 526

Cassian noticed Ryker's hand placed gently on Spark. [He's into Zoophilia isn't he?] 527

"What are you doing?" Cassian asked. [I agree with Cassian on this issue.]
