Ryker reached forward. It was somewhere around here in this cold, dark cave. He just had to find it. Ryker sparked light on the tip of his staff. [Light he could've turned on a while ago he now chooses to turn on.] 23

The cave illuminated the light all around it. Right in front of him though. Ryker looked up slowly, there it was. The winged fox protecting the necklace he needed the most. [Powerful necklace] 24

Ryker touched the fox's head softly, a spark ignited between them. The necklace the fox was carrying was dropped onto the ground. [Really? That easy? Is that seriously all you had to do? Unless this character is some sort of special person, I don't see why it'd be this easy.] 25

Ryker picked it up gently, putting it around his neck carefully. The fox hopped down from the roof. Ryker stared into it's eyes, only for the fox to rub on him. [The fox "protecting" the necklace doesn't protect the necklace.] 26

Ryker pet the fox gently, as it began to surround him. "What should I name you?" Ryker muttered.

"How about..." Ryker stopped to think for a moment, "Spark?"

The fox proceeded to move it's wings.

The fox was sufficiently bigger then him. Although, not by much.

Only about two heads taller, the fox tripped him with it's wing. Then threw him onto it's back, Ryker had to quickly grab onto it. [Mountable fox.] 27

The winged fox rushed forward, spreading it's wings as it leaped out of the cave, and into the air. The sun shone brightly on it's fire like fur. Blazing with a gleam so amazing, Ryker was stunned. [Somehow it can take off in the cave.] 28

Nothing from his world shone so brightly, nor has anything be such a beautiful color.

Spark folded his wings in, plunging toward the ground-no, toward a twisting and turning portal. [Never was it anywhere said that they left. I assume they're in a ravine.] 29

Ryker wondered why Spark was headed directly into it. Although Ryker was also curious. Only until he realized, it was pulling them in. Spark couldn't fight it, so he had to go into it. As long as it doesn't kill them, he's fine with it. [Random portal exists, and you're not panicking. Is this an average Tuesday for him? Even better, why is the fox going into it? Last I checked, it doesn't have sentience and would probably go away from it. And why is the portal pulling them in?] 30

An explosion sounded in the distance. Ryker tried to look and see what it was. Only, it was too late. They went through the portal. [Useless explosion is never mentioned again. And somehow none of the debris go through the portal and kill Ryker. The plot armor is very strong here.] 31

Ryker skidded to the ground, Spark somehow missing. Ryker heard groaning and what sounded like a quick series of Bang! Bang! Bang! [What did Spark miss exactly?] 32

Ryker held up his staff, only to face a hoard of living dead people. [How does he know they're dead?] 33

Ryker turned one to ice, then vaporized another. He attempted to light another on fire. Only to get one of them on fire attempting to bite him. [The sentence to describe the one on fire is repetitive.] 34

Ryker sent a surge of lightning through all of them. Plenty of them fell to the floor. Ryker looked up to the sky, a dragon and two winged foxes where battling each other. Wings, fur, and scales in a flurry.

He turned to run, only to encounter a person. He was wearing ragged clothes, "Quick! Aim for the head!" [The same guy we met before still has no trust issues. Nobody questions anything.] 35
