Eddie had run into Robin at Family Video, on a day where Steve wasn't working. Steve had promised Will, Lucas, Max, and El that he would take them to the arcade and actually hang out with them, and Eddie didn't want to intrude. Eddie leaned against the front counter of the store, pestering Robin.

"Dude, if I give you a candy bar for free, will you leave me alone?" Robin teased, earning an eye roll from Eddie.

"There's only a slight chance, Buckley," Eddie shot back, and Robin laughed.

The two hadn't hung out by themselves for a while, and Eddie felt like it was nice to catch up with Robin. He felt like he only saw her when she was working and Steve was always there. Not that he was complaining about Steve being there, by any means.

"Steve told me you were going on a date with Nancy," Eddie pried, giving Robin a little eyebrow wiggle.

"I did! And, oh my god, it was amazing," Robin beamed at the thought of her date with Nancy. "We went out to get dinner, and then we went to Skull Rock."

"Oh, Skull Rock? Someone got lucky," Eddie teased, earning a light shove from the redhead.

"Nothing like that happened! We just held hands and maybe cuddled a little," Robin blushed, pushing her hair behind her ear. "I'm just looking forward to her and I being as gross as you and Steve."

"Hey, we're not gross," Eddie defended, getting a cackle out of Robin.

"You so are! He came in here a few days ago for work and couldn't sit down without looking super uncomfortable," Robin crossed her arms, her eyebrows raised.

Eddie felt as if he had choked on air as he started laughing, pushing his curls out of his face. "I did warn him!"

"Ew! God, that's not what I wanted to hear," Robin put her fingers in her ears, making a disgusted face at Eddie.

"You brought it up!" Eddie shrugged, bursting into a fit of laughter again. He truly enjoyed his friendship with Robin.

"Truly disgusting, Munson," Robin shook her head, making a fake gagging sound. Eddie only continued to laugh.

"You can't help but love us, Robs," Eddie shrugged, stealing a candy bar from behind the counter.

"Hey! You have to pay for that, you ass," Robin huffed in annoyance, but smiled anyway. She did consider Steve and Eddie her two best friends, regardless of how obnoxious they were.

Eddie happily finished the candy bar, satisfied that he had somehow annoyed Robin even more. He looked behind him as the bell to the front door rang, revealing Nancy, Mike, and Dustin.

"Eddie!" The two boys waved at Eddie, and he smiled, waving back.

"What's up, dorks? Aren't you guys going to the arcade with Steve?"

"Yep! We're just getting some movies for tonight first," Mike explained, and Dustin nodded.

Dustin and Mike went to go find some movies to watch. They were having a movie night at the Wheelers' house, and Nancy's mom insisted that she drove them to go pick out movies. Lucky for Nancy, her crush worked at the closest video shop.

"Robin, hi," Nancy waved, going up to the counter, gazing at the redhead.

"Hi, Nance," Robin blushed, fixing her work vest and pushing her hair out of her face.

"I had fun the other night," Nancy said in a low voice, playing with her hands nervously.

"I did too," Robin leaned against the counter, looking away from Nancy's gaze as she bit her lip and smiled.
