Murder, Love and Magic.

Chapter 2.

"So we know our rooms, yeah?" Zack and Anna nodded. They all went back to the living room and Luz heard a doorbell. She immediately attended to the person behind the door and saw it was the old woman.

"Oh, come in!" But the woman shook her head.

"Thank you very much, but I'm not planning on staying for long. I only came here to warn you about something." 

"These years, there has been cases of murder around here. You're living close to one of the richest, most popular but awful people, the Blights. Please, be careful."

Luz looked at her, putting her hands together and begged for her to be cautious of her surroundings. Luz thanked her and the old woman left.

"This is the beginning of our job. Zack, get the necessary stationary materials. Anna, assist him."

They bowed and immediately vanished. Luz sat down on the couch, crossing her legs and thinking deeply about the skeleton she saw.

"What might that be? Do they worship a dead god?"

"But I've heard cases of murder and awful people. Truly, they are not going to be spared."

Luz had stopped thinking immediately Zack and Anna came back with the supplies she asked for.

Zack and Anna sat down and started to arrange the paper and start their job but she paused both of them.

"And please. Arrange this in the most neatest and finest way possible because both of your Lords are going to see this."

They nodded and Anna got ready to write. "Please go on."

"Cases of murder being spoke of, such happening for years, preferably more than 3 years. Added to the Black Book."

"Anna, print the paper you just wrote on. Zack, collect the printed paper and deliver it to Satan. Make sure he puts it in his Black Book."

Anna printed the paper and gave the printed one to Zack and Zack vanished. Anna gave Luz the paper she had written in and Luz kept it in a drawer that had a passcode for it to be unlocked.

"You can stop acting loyal, Anna."

Anna breathed out and sighed.

"Finally! That was so tough to handle. Never again."

Luz laughed and stood up. "You want some tea?" Anna nodded and Luz went to the kitchen.

"Barley? That's your favourite, isn't it?" She nodded and Luz lit fire with her finger.

"Thank God this house has unlimited food." She gave a big sigh and Zack had finally returned.

"What happened? She told you to stop the act?"

"Mhmm. That was really tiring, y'know!"

Zack went to the kitchen and spotted Luz. "What are you making?" Luz looked at him and rolled her eyes.

"What does it look like I'm trying to make?"

"Tea?"

"No, biscuits." She said sarcastically and rolled her eyes. She asked him if he also wanted barley tea and he nodded.

"Did Satan put it in the Black Book?"

Luz crossed her arms and waited for the water to boil.

"He did. He even sent his regards and his luck to you."

"You mean his bad luck? I'm already half bad luck, I don't want more."

The both of them laughed and Luz started off with another topic.

"We're going to this school named Hexside immediately it's 12:00." Luz looked at her watch and saw it was 11:34.

"Why are we even going to school?"

"Did someone say school!?" Anna screamed in excitement and parkoured to the kitchen.

"I missed school! The place where you make friends, learn new things and most especially..."

She had heart eyes by just thinking about school and Zack rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"Where you find love? Yeah, no kidding."

Zack said with disgust in his voice and Luz laughed at him for being funny.

"Come on, school isn't that bad. Anna is right, it is a cool environment."

"Says the person that's older than infinity." Luz folded her arms in anger by what Zack said and Anna snickered.

"In this dimension, I'll let you know that I am 13 years old. The both of you are even older than 300 years!"

Luz exclaimed and started to make the tea as they continued talking.

"I need to put makeup. Those boys are going to be falling for me, up and down!"

Anna smiled, already thinking about how things would go successfully for her.

"I don't care about looks, to be honest. All I want to do is to enjoy this while I can and leave this fucking dimension. Everywhere is getting on my nerves."

Luz looked at Zack and put the hot tea close to his neck. He whined in pain and she gave him the tea.

"Well, I agree with you but don't just go there criticising a dimension we haven't even gotten to explore yet."

It finally clocked 12:00 and they went to Hexside to meet the Principal of the school.

"Before we go, let's actually make ourselves look like 13 year olds."

Luz snapped her finger and their height and appearance changed.

"But aren't you originally 13?"

Anna asked and Luz nodded.

"The Lord and Satan just designed me to be mentally and physically stronger than my age."

"See, my age is kind of complicated. I'm older than the both of you, but yet, I'm still younger. I'll explain it to you when we come back."

They vanished and immediately, they were at the doors of Hexside.

Luz looked at Anna and Zack who were beside her, left and right and Luz sighed. She breathed in and Luz swayed her hair back in frustration.

"Get ready, you're going to see children that are unbearable to deal with."

Luz opened the door and as they walked on the hallway, people stared at her, Zack and Anna. But most eyes are on Luz.

"Omfg, she's so pretty!?"

"I wanna date her!"

"She's mine!"

People started to swarm around Luz like water and she told Zack and Anna to run for their lives.

"Now I understand why Sasha is like this...!"

Luz immediately disappeared and went to Zack and Anna.

"What the actual fuck. Since when did children become more dangerous than they already were!?"

Luz sighed and the both of them laughed.

They were finally at the door of the principal and they knocked.

"Come in."
