Murder, Love and Magic.

Chapter 28.

"Luz, you would die doing this!"

Max kept on convincing her to stop what she was going to do. He kept on shaking her to listen to him but she removed her hand from his grasp.

"I'm immortal though? Besides, it would only drain my magic."

Max stopped and squeezed his hand.

"Don't you remember the last time you did something like this? You were on the bed for weeks and I feared that something bad would happen to you."

He frowned and looked at the floor. Luz put her hand on his head and started to pat him slowly. She held his hand and Max looked up and looked into her eyes.

"Max. I promise you, that won't happen. I'll try my utmost best to prevent that from happening so you won't feel bad, alright?"

Max hugged her and her eyes widened. She hugged him back gently and they stayed like that for some time.

But she still felt weird. She wanted to talk to Amity so badly but no. Not at this time, not at this moment.

"A scar on both of his palms and a scar on the right eye. What could've possibly happened?"

Luz asked the three of them and they shrugged.

"Wait a minute. If the Blights were associating with the murderer, he could've seen this house. Why didn't he come to attack it? Did he notice there was a barrier placed on this house?"

Luz started to tap her shoe and contemplate deeply about this problem.

"Max. According to the news, at what time does he go on a killing spree?"

"Hm. Exactly at 11:00."

Luz looked at the time and saw it was only 7:45. She walked in circles, thinking of the possible things she would do, unti Zack made a proposal.

"This is 7:46 right now. Luz would do what she's supposed to do and it would take up to 2 hours, depending on how fast she would be. The time Luz is doing whatever she needs to do, Max would go to Belos and try to get some information, maybe as a Plan B if Luz's magic doesn't work."

"You both would've come back around 10, so it would be only an hour left. Luz would still do it again but we would wait till 10:55. Maybe by that time, she would've caught TY Fox."

Everyone's jaw dropped.

How was such a plan made up in such a good amount of minutes?

"Zack, that's a splendid idea!"

Luz held his hand and shook it. He started to blush and cleared his throat.

"Well? Let's get ready!"

"You have the map of Bonnesborough, yes?"

Anna dropped it and opened the map.

"Nobody should make a single noise."

Luz touched the middle of the map and closed her eyes. Suddenly, her eyes widened and it was bright. It was colour blue and she continued to move her finger to every corner and part of the map.

Luz stood up slowly and touched Anna and Zack. Their eyes suddenly became bright, colour blue too, and they went to a chair and sat down.

Max got ready for his own job and immediately left.

With the single touch that Luz had given Anna and Zack, she had given them the leveled up version of what they already had. They had greater peripheral vision and good sense. Anywhere Luz would appear, they would cast a spell so she wouldn't hit anything.

Luz stood at the door and started with a racing position. She stood up slowly and started to run.

She ran extremely fast around the town and avoided every obstacle in her way. Rocks, people, pets, buildings, everything that would obstruct her.

She increased her speed again and started to run faster and faster. She didn't dare stop and still continued.

As she ran, she jumped and almost destroyed the floor. She wasn't on the ground anymore, she was floating. She started to run round and round and people started to notice.

"What kind of breeze is this?"

Somebody said and another tapped the person's shoulder and pointed at the cloud that Luz was making.

She stopped going in one point just in circles and started going round the town, still floating.

It took her 2 minutes and she immediately ran back to her house.

Anna noticed earlier than Zack and Luz was about to clash onto the couch. She casted a spell which stopped her from hitting the couch and she stood up.

She got in that same position again and started to run.

Again and again, she continued to do it. She went through the windows of her house, doors that even led to the bathroom and clashed to literally almost every item in that house but Anna and Zack were there to stop it.

"Ah, it's my turn."

Max cleared his throat and casted an invisibility spell. He stood for some time to analyze the inside of the whole building and he suddenly saw a man with a mask and blue eyes, wearing a white cape.

"That looks like the top man."

"Hey, who's there!?"

Max shifted back in fear but calmed down. He started to walk as the invisible being he was at the time and immediately teleported into the room where Belos was.

Belos was sitting on a chair, crossing his legs and reading a book. Max used his index finger and touched his head and every necessary information entered him.

Max needed more.

He saw an image of a boy who was wearing a golden mask with a white cape.

"Maybe I can shapeshift as him."

Max immediately shapeshifted into him and made himself visible again. He appeared behind Belos and he tapped him.

"Golden Guard. There's a door right in front of you, you should've knocked."

"I'm sorry Emperor Belos!"

Max copied everything about the Golden Guard. His voice, his face, his body shape, everything.

"Why are you here?"

"Emperor Belos, I wanted to ask how he's doing."

He closed his book and dropped it on the table beside him.

"Hm. You mean the murderer? He's doing his job very well. You told me the other time you were going to assist him. Let it be this night."

"He's not going out at 11, he needs to discuss with me about something, so he'll strike exactly at 12."

"I was right about him doing his killing spree at 11!"

"He's a very reliable person."

Belos used his magic and a file appeared right in his hand. He handed it over to Max, who was disguised as the Golden Guard.

He opened it and his hand widened. His hands started to shake in fear.

"Thomas Fox. Apparently by what he told me, he was raised by a bunch of idiots and he goes, place by place to eradicate bad people."

He kept looking at the file and saw he wasn't wrong. Scars at his right eye and both of his palm, black hair and a very strong magic user.

It was Luz's job to do what he's currently doing but little did Max know,
