Murder, Love and Magic.

Chapter 7.

"Oh Ghost..." Amity patted her cat palisman as she sighed continuously.

"Luckily, Mother isn't around. I would have been in serious trouble for coming home late."

Ghost curled himself up as Amity continued to pet him. It yawned as its teeth showed and looked at Amity.

"But I wonder what that human is... She's intriguing."

"Not intriguing in that type of way! I mean, she is still amazing, but no being, talk less should surpass me!"

...

"I'm only going to search around their house for a bit. Maybe I can get some information; to see if they are the cause of the murder cases."

Luz left and closed the door. She went to the Blight Mansion and before she rang the bell, she heard Amity's voice.

"Hm."

"What exactly should I transform into?"

Luz tapped her shoe on the floor and an idea popped into her mind.

She changed into a cat and followed Amity's voice. She saw her window was opened, and teleported to the room.

...

"Did she try and erase everyone's memory? Nobody remembered, so she might have. Even Zander-"

"Meow!"

Luz went into Amity's room and sat down.

"A cat? What's it doing in my room?"

Amity thought and Ghost hissed at Luz. It attacked Luz and it gave her a big scar on her face.

Amity immediately grabbed the first aid box that was in her drawer, and brought out bandages. She wrapped it around the injured part and Ghost was still hissing at her.

Demon: Well ain't this cat possessive.

"Agreed."

Luz went towards the door and started to scratch it, wanting to go outside the room.

"You want to go outside?"

Luz nodded.

"But you have to follow me."

Amity opened the door and Luz started to run.

She searched around and around, but there was no single clue. As she looked, she fell some equipments down and Amity had to pick them up.

Some Minutes Later...

"You really are a tough cat to deal with." Amity sighed and patted Luz.

But Amity heard a door open.

"Mittens, we're back!" Edric and Emira, Amity's older siblings screamed and went to meet her in the living room.

Luz jumped from the table and landed on the floor. She went to the twins and was going in-between their legs.

"Who's this little cutie?" Emira picked Luz from the floor and started to play with her paw.

Emira offered her hand, and Luz put her hand on her palm. Luz sniffed both of the twins and sighed.

"At least, they don't smell like blood."

"Can you meow?"

Luz meowed and Edric fainted.

"This cat is too cute! Where did you find this cat?"

"It came into my room. Ghost got angry and scratched her."

Emira checked the bandaged part of Luz's hand and removed it. They all went to the table and Emira started to heal it.

"Hm. Healing magic? It's not as advanced as mine."

Luz purred and went back to Amity. Amity started to pet her and Luz started to snuggle on her hand.

"This cat has taken quite a liking to you, yeah?"

Emira said and Edric started to pat it. He screamed in excitement and fainted again.

Luz decided to search once again but there was nothing, not even a clue. Even though the Lord was on her side, she knew that it was more of Satan that was on her side today because of her unfortunate incidents.

Amity scooped Luz from the ground and they both went back to her room. She gently dropped Luz on the ground and told her that it was time for her to go.

Luz looked at her and jumped out of the window. Amity went to check if the cat landed, but she didn't see the cat again.

As Luz jumped, she changed back to her normal self immediately and teleported back to her living room.

"Did you get anything?"

Zack asked, still on the couch eating chips, but Luz nodded.

"You should all go and sleep, it's already late."

Luz grabbed the remote from the table and switched off the TV. Zack and Anna went upstairs and Luz looked outside the window. She sighed and brought out her phone from her pocket.

"9:20pm. Maybe I'll help them finish up their assignments they left on the table."

Luz went to the table and started to finish up both their assignments and hers, as the clock was ticking on the wall.

...

Amity was on her bed, laying flat and trying to sleep. She kept on turning her head left and right, until she heard her phone starting to ring. She picked up the phone and saw it was Zander.

"Of all people."

She answered and Zander started to talk.

"My love, how are you doing tonight? Were you trying to sleep?"

"Yes Zander, I was trying to sleep. It's 9:26pm and I need to rest for school tomorrow."

She rolled her eyes and sighed at his stupidity.

"Now, don't get all casual and shit with me. You already know we're getting married immediately we graduate, and we're in our final years. Also, if I see you around that Luz girl that almost killed Boscha, I'll have to discipline you."

He cut the call and she dropped her phone.

This time, it was much harder for her to sleep.

...

"And done." She put the right books in the right bag and looked outside.

But the only thing that could come to her mind was Amity Blight. Her face was just showing up in her mind, but she tried to shake it away.

It was annoying, but a nice thought to think of.

Angel: You should go visit her! At the same time, you could also look out for the murderer around the area.

Demon: For once in my fucking life, I agree with this two-goody shoes.

Luz laughed at both of her evil and good parts of her and decided to visit her. After all, it's what neighbours and friends would do, right?

Before she left, she set up a barrier incase anyone wanted to break into the house.

She vividly remembered Amity's voice. As she teleported to the window, she saw it was locked. This time, she didn't transform as a cat, but she was her normal self.

She knocked on the window and Amity turned to see the one face she had been thinking of after the call with Zander.

"Luz?"
