He just laughs at whatever I say, whatever I threaten, it clearly won't work but I have to try, I won't be made into some helpless little girl that will give him desires especially not Xander but I know humans are powerless to the supernatural, especially to a hybrid manic.

"It's cute you think a little girl like you can defeat me but you will break eventually I have seen girls like you before you are rare but breakable and you are right I hate your kind, but we can't do the things we can do to females to male, you my dear are a very good way to get my vengeance plus there is a reason why we have pets, they give us company with the human world being destroyed my livelihood has been taken away, my freedom has been taken away I need company, I need a blood bag, I need a punching bag and a sex toy all in one that's what a blood pet does and you will be trained to do that any breaking of the rules will result in punishment and believe me I have a sadistic mind when coming up with punishments so I recommend being a good little girl," he said just placing his hand on my shoulder and stroking my chin as I flinch at his touch.

I felt bad for the girls that would fall for the act it's hard most vampires especially the ones close to human towns look like a teenage boy, Xander looks like your typical bad teenager it's easy to fall into their trap, lucky for me I could sense vampires but no one else had that gift.

"You are right as a kid I was, but when I joined the freedom children, I wanted to protect humans that had no power against vampires," I say, it was our code to protect the ones who can't protect themselves originally I was only in it for revenge but when I learnt revenge gets you nowhere I wanted to help people.

he says, I just shake my head.

"They didn't want me to be a part of battles that big" I mumble, Brycen gave me jobs that were one or two vampires, but when it came to big jobs he said it was too dangerous, I felt like he didn't want me to come because I would have held them back even if he called me one of the better fighters.

"They clearly believed you were weak probably, were using you as bait too" he laughs I try to lash at him again.
