I just follow Zoe through the hallways looking around "Relax Caelyn she is a very very nice woman a little full on but once you get to know her she is really like a second mother" Zoe says

"You see her a lot," I ask

"Darcy follows the whole weekly pet get-together thing mainly so it gives him a chance to do his weird things," she says

"Sadly I don't think Xander would allow me back here unless he had to," I say

"What has he done to you, you were so strong, so emotionless at school now you seem like a shell," she says softly

"It's nothing, I mean you are a pet too," I say

"Yeah but don't tell anyone but Darcy beside feeding off me he never touches me when we are in the room, never hurts me because I behave, looks after me, talks to me, comforts me, buys me nice things, it shocked me because I thought he was a monster but that's just his act, yes I miss home but I guess I would rather be here than anywhere else," she says she seems to be telling the truth at least she is happy at least she isn't getting hurt at least, I don't need to worry about her anymore.

"That's great," I say

"What about you please tell me, we may have been away for a few years but you were still the best friend I have ever had, I care," she says

"You can't do anything though, it's okay, I promise," I say just biting my lip

"I know that's a lie but I get it, you are scared," she says

"Just something he has done has said, has Darcy ever you know-," I say as she shakes her head

"We did it once but it was when I was ready, has he? I'm sorry so Caelyn," she says rubbing my shoulder.

"It's okay, it's my role I guess," I say

"Still doesn't make it right," she says softly, she seems to know where we are going and this house is a lot bigger than I thought and a lot nicer too.

"How did you end up here," I ask

"I was unlucky one night walked from home alone and got kidnapped was sent to the pet academy in sector five and trained for a few months before Darcy bought me from the pet shop, I know how you feel because a part of the training was being assaulted, and it broke me and every day I wake up worried Darcy was going to do it but he never did," she says

"Want to swap owners he seems well obsessed with me," I say

She just grabs my arm "Fuck sorry I shouldn't touch you, if your owner finds out I will get in trouble but I wanted to tell you something" she says as we stop in front of a door, she looks dead serious a lot more serious then she was earlier.

"Shoot," I say

"Just be very very careful Darcy wants to kill you for some reason I don't know why but he loves the sound of his voice and he has rambled to me about it, something that he is drawn to your blood and that he has this bad feeling that you will be a danger to his brother, he said that the first chance he gets he will kill you," she says

I just bite my lip I know she wouldn't spill shit and I know he has given me nothing but the creeps "I have to tell Xander" I say

"No please don't, Darcy will know I told you please don't he will hurt me maybe kill me and hurt you too, you are strong you can protect your self please," she says as I see tears filling her eyes She broke an important rule for me because she scares and I can't betray that trust even if deep down I'm afraid if it's true I had an inkling Darcy hated me or wanted me dead but now his plotting my death what if he is the vampire that drinks me dry I mean Xander won't find out, I won't tell him like I won't tell him about Mary's rescue ring.

Even if I should.

"I won't I promise," I say as she smiles at me and we walk into the room, everyone comes over and introduces themselves to me.

"Is it true, is the prince of Evil really evil" I girl called Luna asks she is some rangers pet, he changed her name but even then she doesn't seem too scared, I think she is a companion pet because most of the blood pets have barely spoken not that it's easy to tell either but my Wrist band is pink and companions are purple.

"He is alright" I mumble

"It never feels whole not being able to talk to all the pets, like you miss out on so much you and Connor's pet you should really ask your master to allow you to join," Milly, Samual's pet says I have seen her around as we sit at a table having a morning tea bit this still feels well odd and even if I want to relax and enjoy myself I'm just well nervous, this might all be a set up to test us even Mary might be in on the ploy, I mean if they had cameras in here then she wouldn't say things like that would she or I'm just being paranoid.

"Yeah maybe," I say as everyone starts to join in the conversation as I gently nudge Zoe

"Do they have cameras in here?" I ask softly

"No, the vampires were told they do but it's all controlled they send what looks good don't worry," Zoe says softly as I just eat a piece of the cake, with everything I have been through it's hard not too

"I've never been to the empire I heard it's like a fairy tale," one girl says, I haven't really spoken much, none of the blood pets really have some are just sitting quietly, while some seem to be trained to be robotic, in the conversation I learnt how much freedom companion pets they really get their own room, own key pass they are almost like call girls only come when asked, but they aren't as protected not that this sector has issues I am someone that just observes and what I have observed his how much of a brotherhood sector two is, but then I was told Darcy is willing to betray his own brother but his a seeker.

What if Koby lied, what if I'm not human I feel my hands shake as I just try to settle my nerves even Oscar said I was special, one in a million said bad people will be after me, even humans.

Are these girls serious, they are being owned by vampires and they don't seem to care even Zoe is acting like this is just fun and games, maybe they do get treated like princesses and I get treated like a punching bag or maybe they have been brainwashed I guess when you feel so powerless so vulnerable people can use that against you, vampires with their charm and powers can make you crumble, can make you cling onto them even now, all I want is Xander, all I want is to hide.

"Oh he is I'm so excited to be dressed up and get to meet the royals," Another girl says, I honestly would rather play one of Xander's games than meet the royals, what if I get be touched by someone else, what if I get taken by someone else maybe I do care for Xander more them I want to maybe I am falling for the evil prince of darkness.

I don't even know what happens at a vampire party but all my ideas don't end well for humans, I mean sector two has bonfires and probably get drunk not that vampires can get drunk but if Xander us right about how the empire almost lives back in the olden days I can almost picture how big it will be.
