I purposefully keep my eyes close pretending I am still asleep maybe more out of annoyance he drugged me, again probably.

"You know it is fun to rape a girl who is faking to be asleep," he says which gets my eyes to open Xander just laughs as he just holds onto the bars of my cage.

"Morning darling" he smirks

"I just didn't want to wake up without permission" I mumble

"Aren't you a good girl but also naughty because you do have a time of the day you must be awake by, just because you are a pet doesn't mean you get to sleep all day, I want you awake by 9 every morning any minute after will result in punishment, which you will be served to you after our little day out since it's 9:06," he says tapping his watch

Even when I still build the courage to try and play his game, he just plays a step further, once again making me realise I can't win. I just have to keep fighting this losing battle or just give up, I already submitted but I know I'm not fully broken, I'm close though very close but something keeps me from fighting and I don't know what, maybe deep down I might have hope I have a guardian angel out there, he saved me from Oscar maybe he will save me from here but I wouldn't be surprised if Xander knew about the whole thing, if he was the one that helped me escape he is blonde after all and that vampire that saved me was blonde.

"I'm sorry," I say that's all I know what to say now when I do something wrong and I seem to do that a lot, I still don't know why he drugged me clearly whatever he and Samual talked about, he didn't want me to hear.

"That's okay baby" he mocks just opening my cage and helping me out as Isaac just makes his bed in the corner glancing at me briefly.

"You will be having a doctor's appointment nothing to stress about, just making sure you are all heathy, give you the vaccinations, and any surgeries if the owner had requested them," he says, I hate going to the doctor, don't know why I was always just nervous.

"Is this a vampire doctor?" I ask softly

"No, she is human was a pet when she was younger, and now she is a stupid old bag whose throat I want to slit but is the best in the business which is why I can't sit said throat, she really doesn't like me, it's funny," he says, does any human like Xander, I almost laugh at my own question, if any humans likes Xander they would be crazy.

"Sounds like it," I say, he just smirks at me like I said a compliment to him.

"Then we will get you more clothes," he says

"Where will we be going," I ask

"One of our controlled towns, don't get any ideas, you act out, humans get hurt" he shrugs

"Why don't you trust that I won't run anymore I'm not stupid Xander," I say

"Your right I don't trust you, you have been raised a hunter Caelyn, I know how they work, until I'm certain you are broken and fragile I will still always question whether your leading me into a trap, act broken and scared, make me let my guard down then bam it happened to me once this bitch I tortured for hours pretended to love me next second my parents were killed," he says

"Maybe if you were a normal vampire, but you're not" I shrug

"That's insulting I'm the hybrid" he winks, maybe deep down I don't want to run any more, maybe as much as I hate to admit it this has to be my new home, I'm sick of running, sick of hiding

"You also can't be killed and neither can your brothers," I say

"It's good you are finally learning your place, now go lie on my bed," he says as I see his fangs creep out, I just do what he says, although it does hurt that most mornings Isaac witnesses this and never makes a move to try and help maybe he hates me or maybe he knows he can't help me, at the end of the day I'm not his blood he has no loyalties to me.
