I swear I almost fall asleep due to the boredom but I just keep my eyes on the ground the other pets are doing the same apart from Mathias's pet who is trying to get attention but she doesn't.

I mean if looks can kill she would be dead I swear I heard Xander grumble a few times and I mean Koby's second in command isn't even listening all looking just playing with his zipper I wonder if he knows, is he a part of the plan I mean we made eye contact and he looked away like I was nothing didn't smirk, didn't do anything.

Koby, however, I know the fuck head is reading my mind, the reason why I want to go to sleep plus I don't understand vampire politics I don't even understand why there are sectors in the first place when every clan seems different from appearance to how they each talk and act, even late night I noticed the lower like sectors one and two treat like their clan members like brothers they get along, they stick together but are cold to outsiders, the upper sectors treat everyone the same and not in a good way.

"I believe we covered everything now for my favourite moment of the year the game and this year we have a very very special price, come in darling" Mathias screams I just flinch when I see Madison get dragged in completely naked only wearing heels even has a bow on her head like she is present because she is all because of me but when we meet eyes she doesn't glare at me, doesn't look angry.

"We didn't tell her, why she was being given away" Xander whispers very quietly in my ear only I would hear but I swear Koby does with the look he makes but it still doesn't make this feel right as a few of the upper sector leads cheer.

"Oh fuck yeah she is a babe," The sector 7 leader says, and it's my fault.

"Whoever wins will be able to take her whether it's as a pet, or slave, sectors one and two are you guys sure you don't want to play I mean Xander pretty much all of us would love to put a hand on your pet and we won't bite her but a body like that should be shared around," Mathias says as Xander just growls nudging me to stand

"Go fuck your self Mathias" Xander says as Mathias just gasps Xander charges out with Isaac running after us as I stumble on my feet.

"Look I might be in some trouble but who cares they can't get us," Xander says just looking back but no one follows as I just grip his hand nervous as we just walk to a car.

"Let's get the hell out of here and never go back," Xander says just pulling me onto his lap as Isaac just sits next to us as The driver starts.

"Why are you feeling guilty you really shouldn't," Xander says resting his head on my shoulder.

"Because I'm human and we will guilt and regret when we hurt people," I say

"Do you feel guilt and regret for lying to my face?" he says just hardly squeezing my waist.

"Yes, I promise" I stutter I do feel guilt, it almost broke my heart having to lie like that.

"Good, I really hope you haven't lied to me again, I really don't want to punish you severely" he hums, I just nod swallowing the guilt, I shouldn't feel guilt with all the things he has done to me, put me through, I should hate him, I shouldn't want to care about his feelings, I shouldn't want to upset him, his done something to me, maybe Mary is right maybe I am brainwashed maybe I just gave in when I should have kept fighting.

"All the girls that did find salvation aren't going to be killed too aren't they," I ask

"Lucky for you darling I don't make that decision, Noah does there are severe consequences if a human fully escapes, they will probably be tortured for information and then either killed or if they have good bodies turned into sex slaves, it is the consequences for female runaways but if that female got caught before she escaped then she is at her owner's mercy," he says I just bite my lip
