We quickly had breakfast in the kitchen, Xander didn't speak much, if anything seemed to be in a deep trance did my comment really spark something in him, but for me as much as I don't want it to I know I'm slowly falling and maybe it's his gift, maybe as much as I want to stay and strong and not be dependent of him but I can't help it.

"I'm sorry" I mumble

"Fuck sake Caelyn, what for now" he chuckles

I just shrug as he just sighs "Look you are right, he is jealous but he has nothing to worry about, I will choke you to death before any feelings can grow not that there are any, you are right I can't love a human, and you can't love a monster I say this all the time how can I love someone when I can barely love myself when I barely feel any emotion, it's a sad cycle but one I have gotten used to, now finish your breakfast or you won't be fed for the rest of the day" he says as I just nod finishing the toast as Isaac just looks at me briefly nodding fuck males are confusing.

"Here Darls take a cookie," The chef says handing Xander, myself and Isaac one.

"Thank you, fuck these blood cookies are the bomb how do you get blood in them, do you cut the person throat while you're mixing the dough," Xander says as both Isaac and I stop eating I look making sure there is no blood in mine as I just force it down, clearly she only made the blood onw for Xander.

The chef looks a little rattled but just puts on a fake smile "Blood bags, only want the best if you ever need any blood, I have a large supply, to give your girl a little break you know" she says

"Well you don't get to tell ,me what I get to do with my girl just go back in the kitchen you are lucky I like you," Xander says just helping me down, I should be sickened that a chef would do that but maybe she is just trying to help the pets and slaves, I just keep a grip of Xander's hand as we walk out meeting with Darcy, I really would rather Zoe not come but I guess it's good to see a friendly face, I wish I can talk to her, Mia is helpful I guess but she wasn't a blood pet, she doesn't really know the insides and out.

"Did you warn yours to behave I would rather not get a lecture from older brother if your pet fucks up" Darcy says he doesn't like me, I don't know why he would be jealous I would happily trade spots and let him be Xander's 24/7 bitch.

"Why do you think my pet would fuck up, she has learnt her lesson multiple times and she isn't stupid like a normal girl that had everything on a silver platter, isn't that right pet," he says just stroking my hair.

"Yes master," I say as he just smirks

"Yeah well you know the rules if she does anything stupid," Darcy says

"I know you're trying to get a swap to happen, brother, is zo zo not enough for you" Xander chuckles as Zoe flinches.

"Oh no she is more than enough," Darcy says

"But if I for example were to give you a swap form, you would sign it in a second would you not," Xander says

"Yeah but-" Darcy says stumbling on his words

"Exactly," Xander says just slapping Darcy on the back, as the boy looks confused and we get ready to walk outside.

"You do know your pet will get hypothermia if she walks out like that," Darcy says, Zoe is wearing a thick coat so are the slaves, I'm just wearing a zip-up jacket.

"It's not my fault I didn't have enough clothes for her, fuck just don't touch her," Xander says handing my leash to Darcy as he just speeds away Darcy just shuffles closer to me.
