Mia didn't take too much longer putting the clothes away if anything it was obvious she was doing to quickly has Xander started just telling her some story about some mass murder he did while I kept trying not to faint in pain, it getting more numb by the second.

"Can you please tell me you're helping the pet bitch I mean pet mother tomorrow your the only one I trust with my pet" Xander says

"I will be, they got a bunch of us slaves to help the pets attending get ready I will make sure I get her," Mia says, Xander only trusts her because she knows if she slips up Isaac will get hurt, it makes me jealous I didn't have that, that my own brother would have easily thrown me under the bus while these two are willing to do anything for each other.

"Good, you can teach her some stuff too since you were by Noah's side during the stupid birthday parties, fuck like why do those morons even celebrate birthdays we are technically dead, well Noah and Darcy aren't because you know purebloods they didn't have to die on and neither did, ha stupid vampires any way thank you now fuck off" Xander says as Mia just walks out.

"Did I really hurt you that much?" he says as I just stare at him

"I can't move from the torso down" I stutter

"I can heal you but if I do it shows that you are right and I can't have you be right," he says just stroking my cheek

"Remember you tried to make me a deal to help you get your humanity back" I say

"Yes and I also said it was a very impossible mission, because I won't allow it, I don't wish to become soulless but I don't necessarily want my humanity back either I just don't think I handle all the emotions all the pain, and I know if you had the chance you would turn your humanity off too," he says

"I don't want to be mentally scarred anymore but if having no humanity makes me a monster then no thank you," I say I just jump as he just grabs my neck his eyes flashing red again

"You call me that again and I will take you to the torture chamber and personally play surgeon to you and give you permanent brain damage" he sneers in my ear.

"A monster wouldn't care so much about his family, care so much for his clan and his cause I'm not calling you a monster because what happened to you those people were monsters your just a victim," I say he just stares at me for a moment as I do get shocked when he brings his lips to mine then he just pulls back after a second, speeding out of the room.

What the hell?

I just finger my lips as tears well in my eyes but the pain doesn't hurt so much I'm so confused was that in the moment or just a ploy but considering he left the door wide open and the fact I can easily walk out but clearly that was in the moment, and maybe he regretted it of course he did and it deep down hurts am I really falling for him now I can't

Because he is a monster but deep down I know he isn't, deep down I see a side to him

"Did he just leave the door wide open or is he testing you?" Isaac says I also don't know if I should be staying in his bed and if he will scream at me for still being in here

"He just sped out of the room," I say leaving the detail that he kissed me.

"Sounds like Xander" Isaac says closing the door as I just get up.

"What are you doing," he says

"I shouldn't stay on here shouldn't I," I say

"Considering he said I can bound and muzzle you if you get off his bed I would stay put, I'm not getting myself or my sister in trouble because of you," he says just sitting on the couch next to the bed
