I feel like I have this weight off my chest that she finally submitted but I don't know it didn't feel as fun as it normally does.

I almost felt guilty.

Maybe or maybe because she didn't react as other girls did so it felt strange to me, still doesn't mean I will stop, to be honest I enjoyed doing it to her more than other girls, even if it didn't fill me with the numb enjoyment I normally do, but at least I can brag that I broke a hunter and that's exactly what I have done for the first ten minutes of dinner "See she can't even fight back to the insults" I say just nudging Caelyn as she just looks at the ground almost soulless.

"Did you videotape please tell me you did?" Connor says he was quick to get a new pet, got to love the guy, if Caelyn wouldn't submit I would have been tempted to get his help before I was forced to surrender her.

"Not this time buddy maybe next time, she is very good at playing along, maybe after she turns 25 she can become a porn star," I say I'm hoping for a reaction but all I get is a slight flinch she does just tug my jumper slightly, maybe as a hint, maybe I should tone it done but me bragging about it tries to distract the confusion I'm feeling, the fact I might feel guilt or how I felt this spark when I was kissing her like, fireworks, like a genuine attraction.

"The empire needs to get better ones it little feels like anime and I hate anime or that weird shit that humans use to dress up for I know Xander hated it," Darcy says as I chuckle I may or may not have gate-crashed a few of those festivals.

"The best thing is going to a Halloween festival with your fangs out no one questions it," I say.

"Then Bam they are all dead but anything the empire does is fake and stupid," Bruno says.

"Tell me about it, we have to go there soon too fuck" Darcy says great that's the last place I want to be I know a few things are going on some parties, some meetings a lot of bullshit I would rather not attend too but Noah is right we need to keep our peace they can't attack us, but it's better to be friendly with a majority then against them. We would rather not have to hide out like the rouges not that we are scared, we can overpower a large army but we would only be willing to lose man if it's for the right cause, surprisingly Caelyn was the only one to kill one of our vampires throughout all our attacks.

"It might be fun to socialise," Noah says rolling his eyes as I just chuckle and socialise with a bunch of morons that make me feel like I live back in the 1300s was quite a dull era and an annoying era just like the entire empire.

"With sectors, one and five, and three but everyone else can fuck themselves," I say, I'm also not that keen on taking Caelyn out of this sector where she would get attention from vampires I am also worried because Mathias is a greedy pig when it comes to cute girls, normally wanting to spend a night with other vampires pets because he is one of the only ones that have that authority, he tried with Darcy and he lost his shit he will try with me too lucky I have the excuse that my venom is in her system and will poison him which is the truth the only reason why Noah didn't get poisoned is that we are related and for some reason, it didn't affect him it also won't affect seekers.

If I didn't care so much about protecting her special blood or the overly annoying wolf side that hates my things being touched I would have him drink her blood then it wouldn't have been my fault but I would rather not have a war since I would be done with treason and locked up and I have been a prisoner enough, I don't know if I can handle it again I just gently stroke Caelyn's chin as she relaxes a little just going back to looking at her favourite spot on the ground, I do notice her watching, almost curious I would tell her off but it keeps her busy, keeps her quiet I know sometimes she is pushed to the edge when she wants to snap but she is a very placid girl when she needs to be it's both cute but annoying.
