Chapter 11

Percy 

I was getting ready for the party. I wore jeans, a blue t-shirt, and a grey sweater. I was picking up Annabeth and dropping her off.  I heard a ping. My phone.

Annabeth: I'm ready, are you on the way?

Me: Yup

Annabeth: All right. You know my address right?

Me: Yup. I'll see you soon.

Annabeth: Bye

I put my phone away and went downstairs and when I was just going to go past the door without anybody seeing me. My mom saw me.

"You going now?" 

"Yup." I walk to her and kiss her on the cheek.

"Forgetting anything else?" I shake my head.

"All right Percy have a fun time. But not much of a fun time. Be back by midnight." 

"Got it." I close the door and start driving to Annabeth's

Annabeth was already waiting outside when I came. She opened the door and I just realized what she was wearing. I can tell Piper helped her with the outfit because it wasn't something she would normally wear. And she didn't normally wear make-up , but she was still beautiful with or without it.

She was wearing a dress that faded from white to black, with a belt around her waist. Her make-up was kept to a minimum and she had her hair in a ponytail. I didn't realize I was staring.

She grins. "Close your mouth seaweed brain, or you might catch flies." I close my mouth and my cheeks turn a little red.

"You ready?" 

"Ready as I'll ever be."

When we go through the front door we saw beer cans on the floor, groups of teenagers playing games, a few couples making out in the halls. 

"Glad you could make it." Leo says with a smile on his face and a half finished beer bottle in his hand.

"Seriously Leo?" 

"What? I cam here to party and that's what I plan on doing. You want one?" he offers a beer I decline but Annabeth accepts. I look at her. She just shrugs and walks away. I find  Jason.

"Hey man we're playing spin the bottle if you want to play?"  Jason asked.

"No thanks. I don't feel like kissing anybody today. But I'm surprised you're playing. I thought you had a crush on Piper." 

"I do. She's also playing spin the bottle as well." I grin and clap him on the back. 

"Go get your girl." he nods smiling and walks away to the group.

Jason

I walked back to the group playing but instead of just a peck on the lips, you would have to make out for 2 minutes. Octavian started first and he had to make out with Drew. A couple turns later it was my turn. 

I spun the bottle at the same time praying

It finally stopped and on Piper! Yes! I kept a straight face while on the inside there was a party goin' on.

We both stand up and go in the hall. Then I did the most boldest thing ever.

"Piper, I need to tell you something very important," I take a deep breath "I like you Piper, as more than a friend." she smiles and I smile back, although I don't know if that's a good sign or not.

"That's good because I like you you too." Cue the party.

"That reminds me." I cup her face and lean down kissing her. Our lips moved in sync and I never wanted the feeling to stop.  I kept a hand on her cheek while the other wrapped around her waist pulling her closer. Unfortunately, the timer went off and we broke apart. And I rested my forehead on hers, the both of us smiling.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" 

She nods "Of course." I kissed her once more.

Annabeth

I wasn't drunk. I was a little tipsy but still was aware of my surrounding and I had seen many things at this party. I'd seen Jason and Piper making out in the halls and now I saw Nico and Will. I can tell they sensed me because they broke apart faces red.

" Is privacy not a thing anymore?" Nico asked.

I grin folding my arms across my chest "If you wanted privacy you should've gone in one of the  bedrooms upstairs. " Nico glared at Will.

"What? They were all closed so I presumed we couldn't go in them."

"Treat each other well. Continue." I grin walking away and spot Percy sitting outside on the patio. I walk over to him sitting on the chair next to his.

He grins "Glad you could join me. Are you drunk?" 

"I'm not drunk but I am a little tipsy. Are you okay?" 

"Yeah why?" 

"It's just, you see a little distant. That's all. Is there something wrong?" 

"It's just reminds me of bad memories," he said his head low.

"I know you don't have too but, do you think you could tell me?" 

"Do you swear not to tell anybody?"

"I swear," I promise.

"All right, but this isn't the best spot."

"Maybe some of the rooms upstairs are open." I suggest. He nods and we go back inside the house and go upstairs to find the guest room open. We go inside and Percy closes and locks the door behind us. I sat on the bed, Percy across from me.

He takes a deep breath. "All right. Before my mom married Paul she was married to this guy named Gabe Ugliano. He was addicted to beer and alcohol. By the time I was 10 he started abusing me. He kicked me, slapped me, and even threw empty beer bottles at me." my voice started cracking "I never told anyone because I was afraid h-he would start hurting my mom. So I k-kept it a secret. My mom eventually found out by the time I was 13 and she told the police. And then he was sent to prison." 

One tear fell down his cheek but I wiped it away. I then hugged him rubbing his back in circles and whispered things like : 

"I'm sorry." or  "You're safe now." or "It's okay."

He buried his head in the crook of my neck sobbing. I hadn't even thought about me and Percy's position on the bed. I sat on his lap, my arms around his neck, my chin rested on his shoulder, and his  arms around my waist. But now was not the time to care. Once he finished sobbing  he raised my head and now me and Percy were face to face. 

"Oh Percy I am so sorry you had to go through all of that. You don't deserve it. But I'm glad you told me and trusted me." 

"Yeah," his voice cracked and he cleared his throat "And you promise not to tell anybody?" 

"Never in a million years." I said wiping his tears with a small smile.

Hello cupcakes. Solangalo and Jiper happened in this chapter! Yay! I mean this was kind of a sad chapter but it did have a bit of Percabeth. I wrote 1111 words in this chapter! I'm so close to 200 views! Thanks to you guys! Thanks and Adios!
