Chapter 19

Percy

She's kissing me. She's actually kissing me. I hesitated before kissing her back but I did. I pulled her closer to me and all to soon she pulled away.

"I thought you said take things slow." I whisper

"I also said we would see where fate takes us." she whispers back. I grip her waist tighter and kiss her again. Our lips moved in sync, they felt so right on mine and they felt soft against mine. After a few seconds she pulled back.

"So what does that make us now?" I ask.

"I don't know. What do you want to be?" 

"You already know the answer to that." I say smirking.

"I-I think I'm ready for a relationship." I smile and she smiles back. She rests the side of her face back on my chest and we continue swaying to the music for the rest of the night.

We were on the porch of Annabeth's house.

"Thanks for a wonderful night." she says. I rested my forehead on hers.

"No thank you." I kiss her goodnight, go to the limo and the driver drives me home.

"So tell me everything!" Mom said after I changed clothes.

"I picked her up, we danced, and I dropped her off." she grins and shakes her head.

"Tell me more. Did you and Annabeth kiss?" I looked at the ground and my cheeks went red. Then she started squealing and let me tell you. It wasn't a pleasant sound to listen. 

"You totally did!! Finally! I have been waiting forever. So are you guys a couple now?"

" I guess you could say that." I whisper.

"Oh finally!!" 

" Can I go to bed?"  she smiles and nods. That night I fell asleep thinking about my girlfriend.

Annabeth

Monday was a normal school day. No it wasn't. Before 1st period we were just hanging out until I saw a spider. I quickly jumped into Percy's arms. He held me bridal style and I wrapped his arms around his neck.

"What's wrong?" he asked me.

"Spider!" I shrieked. He started laughing.

"You're afraid of that small spider?" I slap his shoulder.

"This nothing to laugh at! I have a very big phobia of spiders. Kill it!" I say. He chuckles. 

"Chill Annabeth I'll kill it." Leo said and he killed it. I take a deep breath.

"Thanks Leo." Percy didn't let me down. 

"You can let me down now." he blushed.

"Oh right sorry." he lets me down and snakes an arm around my waist.

" I can't believe you guys are together! This is amazing!" Piper said. 

"Yeah I know it's even more fun for me." Percy says wiggling his eyebrows and I slap his chest. 

"Be quiet." I say quietly. 

" So you guys are still going to my game tomorrow right? It's the finals." Percy said. He was so cute when he was excited. Everyone nodded.

"Great! I got to now I'll see you guys later." he kissed my cheek and left.

It was finals. All my friends and family were there cheering me on. I was really nervous but as long as Annabeth was there, she would give me the courage to go on. We had to swim 20 laps yeah I know a lot but compared to the amount of laps coach made us do, this is nothing.
