Annabeth just moved to NYC and started going to Goode High and met Percy, the most popular and hottest guy in school. They become friends but will they become more than that?
Me and the girls went dress shopping while the guys went tux shopping. Piper's mom had a dress shop so where were going there.
"Hey mom!"
"Hello girls! Oh it's prom season isn't? Oh I just love it! Come with me I have a whole selection of dresses for you girls!" Aphrodite said. She was a very cheerful person.
" All right Annabeth is it? Oh Piper has told me a lot about you and Percy! I think you two would make a very cute couple." I blush.
"We're just going as friends." I say my cheeks red.
"That's still not going to change my opinion." she sang. " All right now Hazel this dress would look great on you! Go try it on!" she gave the dress to Hazel and she went to the dressing rooms.
"Calypso this is a beautiful dress and you would look lovely in it." she gave the dress to Calypso and soon she gave one to Piper. She looked at me up and down and then a smile grew on her face.
"Aha! I have it!" she grabbed a grey dress that had sequins around the waist and neckline. It also was just above knee length. Once I tried it on it was a little tight for me I could feel my figure showing and I wasn't comfortable.
"No I'm not feeling it. Here try this one on it should fit you perfectly. It should make your eyes pop." Aphrodite said as she handed me the dress. It was grey with sequins in the pattern of a flower and it reached my ankles. Once I got out of the dressing room Aphrodite started squealing.
"Oh this is the one for you! It looks lovely! How does it feel?" she asked.
"It's comfortable and I really like it."
"Percy's going to drool when he sees you." Hazel said.
"Thanks. We all look great these dresses are beautiful Aphrodite." I say.
"Oh no need to thank me and don't worry these are all on the house." she said smiling.
"Thanks Aphrodite!" Calypso said. We all said our thanks and changed back into our clothes.
"All right let me do something quick and then we'll do some shoe shopping." Piper said. And as soon as she was done we went to get our shoes.
Percy
Me and the guys were getting our tuxes. I decided to go with a classic black tux while the others got grey, gold, and white tux's.
"So what color ties should we get?" I ask.
"Piper said she's going to text me what color dresses the girls are getting and we'll get ties the same color." Jason replied. Then a ping came from his phone.
"Oh she sent it. Frank- gold tie. Leo-Black tie. Percy- grey tie. And me.. pink tie." he said. We couldn't help but snicker. We got our ties and then we got our shoes.
"Dam I'm hot!" Leo said as he checked himself out in the mirror.
"I don't get it. How did you get a girlfriend before me?" I say. He flex's his 'muscles' and smirks.
"What can I say? All the ladies love the McShizzle." I roll my eyes. We buy everything get some lunch.

"So show me your tux!" mom nagged me all day ever since I came home which was 10 minutes ago.
"Can't you wait 3 weeks?" I complain.
"All right fine."
3 weeks later (prom)

Annabeth
It was prom. I put on my dress and went down the stairs. Piper helped with my hair and did little make up.

I went down the stairs and my dad and Helen kept snapping pictures.
"You look beautiful kiddo." my dad said, side hugging me.
"Thanks dad." the doorbell soon rang and I opened it and I found Percy waiting out there. He looked cute with his black tux and his sea green eyes. I soon figured I was staring and quickly looked away my cheeks red.
"Are you done staring?" he asks. "You look stunning wise girl."
"You don't look bad yourself seaweed brain." I say smiling. "What's behind your back?" he showed me what he had and it was a beautiful flower corsage.
"It's beautiful."
"A beautiful corsage for a beautiful girl." he said as he put it on my left wrist.
"That was cheesy." he shrugs.
"You two have fun." Helen said.
"Thanks bye!" Once we started walking off the porch I just looked at the vehicle we were going to ride in and it was a limo. I stopped in my tracks as I looked at Percy.
"You got us a limo?!" I say. He smiles and nods.
"Percy you really didn't have to." I say hugging him.
"It's fine, I wanted to." he parts from our hug and opens the door and he gestures for me to go.
"After you m'lady." he mockingly bows and I curtsy.
"Why thank you sir." I get in the car and he goes in after me. Then we start driving to prom.

Once we got there we met up with our friends. After a little while of talking we just decided to start dancing.
" I can't dance anymore." I say after 1 hour and 30 minutes of dancing. I sat down on a chair and rubbed my feet.
"Okay, I'll get some punch." he came back with two glasses of punch. He gave me one and I drank it.
"Ewww. Why does it taste like this?" Percy complained.
"One of the stolls probably hijacked it." I shrugged and drank the rest of them. The song turned into a slow song and the DJ spoke into the mic.
"All right this is our last song of the night so bring your date, your parents, or that random foreign exchange student in your history class and enjoy the last dance of the night." couples started getting on the dance floor and started swaying to the music.
"Would you like to dance?" Percy held out his hand and I smile and take his hand. We go on the dance floor and he puts his hands on my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck. We swayed to the music and I rested the left side of my face on his chest.
After a few minutes of swaying to the music I lifted my head from his chest and did something I thought I would never do.
I kissed him.
