{Jonathan}
My mom pulls up on the familiar driveway of the average sized house in Winnipeg.
Autumn Street.
So many childhood memories have taken place here.
Ally and I have arrived in Winnipeg, and we just got to my old home, in which my parents still live in.
The cozy looking house still looks as lively and vivid as always; the green grass glows gloriously on the lawn, and my mother's garden plants are growing like crazy.
I quickly get out of the car, as my mom continues explaining something to Ally about my childhood.
Ally giggles and blushes lightly at the story she's telling.
We grab our luggage from the back of the car, and make our way into the house through the garage.
The door swings open, and I take my first few steps into the house.
I drop my bags and close my eyes, breathing in deeply.
God, I've missed this place.
"Jonathan?" My mom asks, from behind me.
I spin around, to see my mom and Ally standing beside each other behind me in the boot room.
"Yeah?" I ask, confused.
"I said, are you hungry?" My mom asks, laughing.
"I think he's a little stunned to finally be home." My mom winks, nudging Ally lightly.
Ally smiles, her eyes meeting with mine.
"I'm not hungry, but thanks." I laugh.
"Come on Ally, I'll show you around." I smile, reaching my hand out to hers.
She takes it, gets an approving nod from my mom, and then we continue through the house.
We arrive at the kitchen and the living room, pictures of my brother David and I all around the walls.
David!
Where is he?
I haven't seen that little shit in way too long.
"Mom, is David home?" I ask.
"Yeah, he's outside with your father!" My mom calls from the other room.
"Come on," I nod, looking at Ally, as we move out the backdoor and into the backyard.
Sure enough, there in the backyard, sitting on two lawn chairs, each with a beer in their hands, my father and David sit together.
"Hey guys!" I call, barely able to contain my excitement.
"THERE HE IS!" My dad calls, getting up quickly and running over to me.
I embrace my dad and the two of us take part in a large, tight hug.
"How have you been son? Congratulations on everything, my God it's been so long since I've seen you last." My dad shakes his head, laughing.
"Good, good. Thanks Dad." I smile.
David comes over to me, the golden highlights in his dark hair shining in the sunlight.
He bro hi-fives me, as he laughs.
"Missed you man." He says, shaking his head.
"You too David." I say, quietly.
He pats my shoulder, and then his eyes flicker past me and onto Ally behind me.
I can tell by the look in his eyes that he is slightly stunned by the hot girl standing behind me.
