"Heh.. now I can taste the blood of those young souls in peace."

The man said as he licked his dagger clean. Its crimson red blood, staining the sides of his lips. He laughed maniacally as he killed the charging jormungers one by one. Not even holding back as he sliced their necks clean open. His golden hair swayed with each slice as he smiled with no remorse. "That dragon really helped me. Sad that it had to die so quickly by that mere slave." he said as he walked onto the stairs of the palace. Approaching its big golden door. "Those who follow the gods of divinity shall be slain by the god of wrath." he said as he opened the door. He looked around. Trying to spot anyone who dared to attack him. "Eenie miney mo.. who likes to see me cut you whole" he said sinisterly as he spotted a group of jormungers, all guarding the main entrance to the palace. "Aww how cute. You really think that you mere mortals can defeat me?" he said. Chuckling slightly as he spun his dagger around his index.

He could hear one of the guards whimper as some pointed their spears towards him. He squinted his eyes as he walked towards them. His posture intimidated the guards, yet they gave no inch as their duty had been instructed. "No one dares to attack the queen herself and her close ones. Stand back or.." "or what" he said as he put his dagger below his chin.forcing the guard to lower his spear. "Say.. how about you let me in and I will leave you unharmed. Will that suffice?" the guard gave out a slight groan before swinging his spear back towards him. Injuring him slightly in the right arm before the man pierced his neck. "See, I gave you a choice. Not my fault that you lay there in agony." he said as he chuckled. "Now. As for you guys. Do you want to be part of the festivity or do you want to live?" "those who are chosen to be jormungers shall never disobey the gods orders. For those who harm innocents are ought to be killed immediately and with great agony" one of the guards screamed out. They all charged as the man stood there. Not even frightened a little bit. "So be it" with a swift motion, all the guards fell down on their knees as they all gasped for air before succumbing to their death. "Pitiful creatures." he said as he opened the main entrance. The echoing steps haunted the cold stone halls as he searched for luxia. "Oh luxie. Where may you be my dear..

Your mom is waiting for you" he said sarcastically. Yet not a single sound could be heard. A cold desolate ambiance filled the air as he entered the main dining hall. "Heh neatly arranged cutlery" he said as he observed the dining hall. Its golden pillars shone back by the moonlit sky as it pierced through one of the yellow curtains. He grunted, feeling a little frustrated as he was unable to find them. Suddenly he heard soft distant footsteps coming from behind him. "There you are." he said while running back towards the hall behind him. As he glanced in both directions. Trying to find the origin of the sound, he saw two small pairs of feet running behind the corner of the right side of the hall. He smiled with ill intent as he ran towards it. "There you are!... huh?" he said again. Expecting one of the small maidens. Yet again he was met by a cold desolate hall.observing his surroundings. He saw two pairs of big doors, slightly opened, revealing a glimpse of moonlight passing through. Thinking that they were there, he ran towards it. Walking through the two big doors, he chuckled while closing the door behind him. "You cannot hide from me. I will slice you up and lick your blood right from my blade." he said as he grabbed his dagger from his side pocket. "I love the taste of fresh young blood." he said while walking towards the piano in the middle. Lit by only one light above. "one .. two.. Three.. You can't hide from me" suddenly all the lights went out. Leaving him in pitch black darkness. Faintly he heard a pair of feet walking towards him from behind the piano he was facing. A screeching sound of metal dragging along the polished floor echoed through the entire room. "Oh who might this be?" he said as he patiently awaited for the mysterious person to appear out of the dark. "One who has waited for you long enough." a soft but stern voice sounded as the person came closer and closer to the lit up spotlight. As she entered the light. He noticed a red flower clipped to the side of her hair. "One step further and i will not give you a single inch of mercy darcius" the girl said as she took a stance and stared right into darcius's soul. He could only merily grin as he licked his dagger clean. "What a vengeful woman I see." he said as he stared right back at her dark brown eyes. Her black ponytail flowing by the wind that was rushing in from the slight crack of the window. "If you're smart. I would not make a mess of this polished piano that is sitting here" he said. Glancing shortly at the piano before staring right back at her eyes. "Your brother looked so frightened didn't he. When he lost track of you?" she grit her teeth as she draws her sword "don't you ever dare to speak another word about my brother you monster!" she said. Yelling in a commanding tone while still shaking head to toe as she is face to face with her brother's killer. "It is so pleasant to get a chance to taste his sister's blood for once."

He said unfazed by the growing anger on the girl's face. "Is that not right?.. Cilliya?" he grinned ear to ear as he also took a stance. Grabbing another dagger out of his pocket as he chuckled menacingly. Cilliya could not help but feel a growing sense of anger and bloodlust as she gritted her teeth once again before saying "you are partaking in a battle with the kings maiden. Prepare for vengeance as i cilliya laitivande. Will not spare an inch of your body!" Darcius grinned as he took a deep sigh and screamed with a low growl. As they both ran towards each other. Cilliya swung her sword above her head and dropped it on Darcius' face, but he dodged it just in time to avoid her attack. He sliced cilliya's arm a little as he swinged his daggers around. The stinging pain made cilliya grunt out in pain slightly before picking her sword back up and turning around. She screamed as she charged yet again. Swinging her sword sideways this time, Darcius gave out a slight scream as Cilliya managed to pierce his leg "you little-" he said before dodging another attack. Cilliya was filled with vengeance as she had no intent of sparing him. As she charged again, Darcius managed to dodge her attack. Slicing her side slightly. Gritting her teeth as the pain worsened. She shrugged it off. Turning around as she landed another hit on darcius. "Why am I not landing a single damn attack?" he thought while dodging Cilliya's rain of attacks. As he frowned in frustration he ran around the piano. Cilliya noticed and jumped onto the piano. Swinging her sword above her head. She gave out a scream as the sword hit the cracked floor tile. "Not so strong now huh?" she said. Wiping away the sweat on her forehead. Darcius gave out an awkward laugh as he for the first time. Felt a sense of dread. Standing up he looked around before glancing back at Cilliya's furious eyes. "I am not giving you an inch of mercy!" Cilliya said. Suddenly a cloud of purple dust appeared around cilliya. Chairs, tables and pieces of rock flew up into the air as it spun around the entire room. Darcius stood frozen. Unable to comprehend what was happening, glancing around. He noticed Cilliya's veins were bright purple "you touched the vile of the dark!" he said as he laughed. "The vile that brings out evil and taints those with pure hearts into impure hearts." Cilliya frowned "I may have touched it. But no one will come near my queen." rocks came falling down towards darcius as she pointed her finger towards him. He struggled to dodge the raining chairs and debris that were falling down upon him. As he covered his face with his arm he looked around for a way out before being locked between two rocks. He screamed out in agony as the glass windows shattered to pieces. Never before he felt so intimidated by a mere mortal. "A mere mortal who possesses the power of visiok!. A god of wrath"

He yelled out. Chuckling as he struggled to free his legs of the rock. "You killed someone who was dear to me. Someone who watched me fall and stand up. I am not going to let a monster like you near luxia!" she said as she threw more pieces of debri towards him. He groaned in pain as the weight of the rock crushed his legs more and more. "Cilliya?" Suddenly a young voice appeared out of nowhere. Cilliya turned around to look towards the slightly opened door behind her. Lanei stood there with one hand in her mouth. Her frightened eyes gave Cilliya a sense of regret. "I'm sorry sweetie. This is not what it looks like" Cilliya tried to explain as she dropped down onto her feet and made the cloud of debris disappear. But before she could come and comfort lanei. She felt a sharp sting in her stomach. As she glanced down to her abdomen. She saw the blade of a sword. Pierced through her stomach as it dripped out her blood. "Monsters like you never get to live" darcius voice sent shivers down cilliya's spine as she fell down onto her side. Her vision slowly faded as she watched Darcius grab lanei by her arm before dragging her with him through the door. Holding out her hand. Tears fell down her cheeks as she slowly lost her strength. The blood began pooling around her while memories of her brother playing in the field flashed through her eyes in a split second. His white spiky hair flowing with the summer breeze as he ran through the meadow. Cilliya ran happily with him as they both enjoyed the short freedom they were given. Before the memory of losing track of him through the busy street flashed before her eyes. "I'm sorry" she whispered. As she closed her eyes before her long slumber. "You are not dead yet." a voice appeared out of nowhere again. A soft comforting voice of a woman. Cilliya widened her eyes open. The sharp stinging of the sword dissipated as she was able to stand up again. She looked around, confused by the non existent pool of blood that she had remembered being present before she closed her eyes. Glancing at her sword that laid on the cracked floor tile next to her. She picked it up and wiped away sweat on her face as she silently said. "No one is going to hurt my queen"
