sometimes it's better to forget what happened.’’ a voice said.. the girl looked up as the old lady poured her tea, the girl smiled, thank you..’’ has the sickness lessened?’’ the woman asked again as she looked at her arm which still had some purplish hue to it kind off.. my arms feel weaker then normal but it will dissipate hopefully.’’ the old woman smiled as she hunched over and pinched her cheek. That's my girl! soon enough you will be able to join them after you have recovered!’’ the old woman cheerfully said, raising her arms up in the air as she danced around, oh please no, the girl said , smiling while simultaneously frowning in laughter. After the woman was done dancing and joking around, she returned to the girl with some books. They looked old and dusty with signs of tears. “Here, this will help to pass some time.’’The girl nodded and softly grabbed the books and laid them down beside her bed. “everytime i look out my bedroom window, i can never seem to forget what happened there..’’ the girl said, looking out of the window as the morning winter sun shined in her eyes, the woman frowned and put her hands on her hips, well if you don't forget it you will never heal properly, what happened.’’ the girl looked at the woman who was noticeably frustrated.. “I'm sorry for bringing it up again. I will try to forget it.”
the woman nodded, “well.. please do…” she replied as she walked out of the girls bedroom, the girl looked around.. scratching her head as the morning awakening still lingered within her.. yawning.. she stretched her arms and stood up.. giving one last look out of the window before turning back and cleaning herself up.. “cold” she silently said as she splashed herself with some water out of a bucket. The cold weather of the winter months made it almost unbearable to bathe, it felt like she had to go out naked everyday. she sighed.. wrapping a towel around herself as she stepped back into her grandmother's house, she sighed again looking around for her clothes but seemingly vanished into thin air.. “not again, she murmured.” until she looked back and noticed that her clothes were lying beside the cabinet next to the door, she scratched her head again “how could i have missed that?” she said frustrated.. exhaling deeply before putting on her clothes and tying her hair into a long black ponytail. “still the same girl as i was before..” I was before, she thought. in her mind. the voice of that man she fought still lingered around in her head. only ever so softly. putting her in a daydream like state before being shook awake by her grandmother walking in. “Are you going out for a walk? she asked her. “only for a short while.. we are empty of fresh vegetables.” “I doubt there even are vegetables.. I mean it's winter after all.. yields are low this time” the girl smiled looking down shortly while grabbing her purse. “If anything I will try to find something which will keep us till the end of winter,” the woman nodded as she picked up scattered clothing on the floor, “how could I have missed all of those?!” the girl thought to herself again as she walked out of her room down the stairs and out of the front door towards the market.. this time around, not many people were out buying for food.. it looked a lot more desolate then the usual big crowded market she used to see in eulithia.. “2 CARROTS FOR THE PRICE OF ONE!” a merchant yelled, desperately looking for profits, the girl walked over to him and inspected the vegetables. she stepped back slightly as the carrots were noticeably over due, “no thank you..” she said walking on.. the streets looked grim wit the occasional grendal's walking around and the rows of boarded up windows, “it cannot be this bad can it?” she asked herself as she glanced around. “seems like i have to disappoint grandmother again..” she sighed.. walking back, all of a sudden a silhouette of a young boy appeared in the distance, its features were vague, the girl squinted her eyes before she was overtaken by the overwhelming feeling of guilt, “why did you leave me behind? why did you not save me?” the boy said as its body vanished into thin air like a phantom.. the girl could only look down before proceeding onwards back home. “nothing?.. don't worry dear. we can ""please don't, i need some time alone.” the girl said. taking off her shoes and walking back up to her room “stop reminding me!” she said again..dropping herself onto her bed and burying her face into the cushion. “You can not forget what you saw,” the voice said again. “I told you before.. we were walking down the streets with you next to me before all of a sudden,” she paused for a second..
“I was too weak back then.. if I could, I could have saved you. I really tried…” she punched the cushion before she looked back up and saw the boy standing in front of the window, looking out at the streets below, “it really looks magical does it not sister?” the boy asked. “yeah..” the girl replied, wiping her face with her elbow.. “Will you take me down to explore it?” the girl nodded “some time later.. Now I want to rest..” she said.. laying down face up while staring at her arm.. it had discolored slightly, a purplish hue tainted her veins slightly, she sat back up and looked at her thigh where she could see the scar of the dagger that had stabbed her.. “saying it is easy. but trying seems impossible..” se said again. closing her eyes before slumber encumbers her,
“CILLIYA!” a voice screamed out to her.. she shot back up and looked around, observing the non existent plain which seems to be nothing but a void, “where am i?” she asked.. the vast nothingness made her skin crawl until two children appeared behind her, “you are in what we call the sanctuary.. a place where we can thrive and communicate” cilliya frowned, “how did i end up here?” The kids looked back at each other. “because of past trauma and your importance in the future,” cilliya looked around again, trying to stand up but being unable too, “don't try.. your body is sleeping, so you won't be able to use your lower body,” the kids said. walking around her in unison, “i do have the nagging feeling that i am not the only one who can enter am i right?” cilliya asked, following the gaze of both the boy and the girl. the twins sighed but gave in.. “both of your friends are able to enter this plaine.. elisia and luxia, along with ones who we cannot control,” the twins said, cilliya could feel the concern in their tone, “we are not asking of you much, but we can only warn that a incommin fight will take place which will determine not only your future but the future of everyone else you have ever known,” the twins said. “be wise in your next step, we will not intervene you anymore, be warned” the twins said before cilliya shot back up again, this time in her own bed.. the daylight had turned into night as the clock ticked its mechanical parts, cilliya glanced over to her old suit and looked out of the window, “make a wise choice, its now or ever…”
