Luxia was waiting. Eagerly swaying her feet as Veranos walked out of the front door of the palace. His remarkable white suit made Luxia smile in awe as Veranos tidied up his suit. The golden burdures of flowers and the polished trekking pole. It amazed her. "I see you are wearing the dress Cilliya made you." Luxia looked at her feet. Touching the silver half crown as she thought back to Cilliya. Who was still lying in bed. Unable to walk or talk. Veranos took notice and put his hand on Luxia's shoulder and said. "Don't worry luxia. She will be ok. She is currently watched over by Zelana"

Veranos said as he gave a smile towards Luxia. She glanced at him, smiling slightly before looking down again. She was still worried. Her thoughts ran restless as the days had gone by. "Come on. We don't have much time anymore." Veranos said as he walked into the carriage. The cold wind breeze made Luxia shiver a little bit. Jumping off the back of the carriage, she waved Elisia hello who sat in front. Leading his horse griar. Elisia bowed his head as he turned to face forward again. As the horse began to walk towards the church. Luxia stared at the sky, it had turned a gloomy gray. Birds were no longer present, the flowers withered away as the cold prevented the bees from pollinating, the fish turned into a deep slumber as the lakes and rivers froze. The streets were no longer buzzing with life. Yet it was met by a silent cold gush of winds. Only the Jormungers were still present. Guarding the streets and helping people bring their belongings inside. It felt sad. As if all life had been stripped away. "This year winter will be present longer than last year." Veranos said. Luxia turned to look at Veranos who was also gazing at the empty streets. She nodded and turned to look out of the windows again. Then. she could hear loud stomping of giant metal feet. As she looked towards her right passing a corner. She saw a huge building. It dwarfed the other buildings beside it. Its clock house had a circular open window. Where she could see carvings of gods and ancient texts. As she looked down to observe the surroundings she saw two giant grendals. Both followed the Jormungers as they checked the masses of people for any weaponry. "Oh that's where they are." Luxia said. Realizing that everyone within the kingdom came to the grand church. As she observed further she saw the king. Waiting alongside one of his maidens.

Lanei. Her extraordinary dress perplexed luxia. Admiring the handcraft and the bordures that were laid within it. Without a thought she knew that Cilliya had made this dress. As she saw the same style which was incomparable to hers. The carriage came to a stop. Almost making Luxia fall over before she grabbed the table and put herself back up. "We have arrived sir and my lady" Elisia said as he laid the rope down onto the wooden bench he was sitting on. Walking over towards the carriage door he saw that one of the people was rejected. The man furiously tried to walk towards the church but before he could do so. One of the jormungers pointed his sword at him. The man, now afraid, turned around and left. Elisia felt an intimidating presence but shrugged it off as he helped Luxia walk off the Carriage. "I will be waiting here if you don't mind." Elisia said as they stood, facing each other. Veranos nodded and waved Elisia off as he grabbed Luxia's hand and walked towards the church like a father and daughter. "Name?" the jormunger asked as he held his hand out. Indicating them to stop. "Veranos Greand and Luxia kreinheard" suddenly the jormunger stepped back. Lowering his hand as he said. "My dear apologies please make way!" the guard said as he yelled towards the people. They all stared in confusion before realizing that they had arrived. Their eyes widened as they all scrambled to make way for them to pass. Veranos nodded in gratitude as they walked by. The people stared in awe as they looked towards luxia. Her soft silk dress. Swaying with the breeze as her white hair flowed with the wind. "Don't worry." Veranos said silently as they approached the stairs, above the king and lanei waiting for them to stand beside them. The air was deafeningly silent as her heels stepped on the concrete stairs, she could hear the gears of the giant machines grinding together as they all stood still. Luxia glanced back at the people who were still staring at her. She quickly looked back forward. Inside feeling anxiously afraid. Yet she held her composure as she and Veranos approached the king. The king gave Veranos a hand shake as he turned to face them. Lanei happily stretched her arms out giving Luxia a tight hug. Luxia tried to awkwardly push her away. Yet sighed as she saw that lanei seemed so excited to meet her.
