"Down to earth, keep on falling but I know it hurts.
Going faster than a million miles per house."

BARTON RESIDENCE

The quinjet landed in a green open field, surrounded by oak trees and bright hills. It was a secluded area compared to the city they had been in moments ago. Across from the quinjet was a farmhouse with a classic barn next to it. As the doors to the quintet opened, Florence helped her daughter up with an arm steadying her.

"Are you okay?" Florence asked.

Avalyn had a far-off look in her eyes as she nodded, barely recognising she was back at the place she visited a few times a year as a young child. A place that little people knew about.

"What is this place? A safe house?" Tony questioned confusingly.

"Let's hope," Clint stated.

The group walked towards the farmhouse in a matter of matters with Clint pushing the door open first. Avalyn and Florence entered directly after him, both tense.

"Honey, I'm home!" Clint shouted, leading everyone to the living room.

A woman with wavy brown, a sweet smile and tanned skin entered the room. Avalyn looked towards her and noticed that she was heavily pregnant. Avalyn's eyes began to focus on her, slowly feeling her mind being released from the red.

"Hi, company. Sorry I didn't call ahead," Clint apologized.

"Hey," Laura said to Clint, looking at the Avengers with a welcoming grin.

"This is an agent of some kind," Tony whispered to Thor, retrieving the same puzzled expression that he had.

"Gentleman, this is Laura," Clint introduced to the team after greeting his Wife with a small kiss on her head.

Guessing by the shock on everyone's faces, Avalyn assumed that Clint had never told anyone about the fact he had a wife.

"I know all your names," she said gesturing towards them all before falling on Avalyn,"Oh my God, Ava."

"Laura," Avalyn sighed happily as her brain clicked back into place.

The brunette wrapped her arms around the woman she considered an aunt. Clint Barton's wife was someone kept out of records and if it wasn't for Clint and Florence being best friends, Avalyn wouldn't have known her at all.
