It was no surprise to Avalyn when she heard Steve had managed to track down Bucky and Katarina Barnes and get in trouble while doing so. He was warned about interfering without permission and he still did so, because Steve couldn't sit by and do nothing.

Steve still refused to sign the accords when Tony had asked him to and Avalyn knew he never would. Captain America wasn't the property of the government, he stood for freedom and doing the right thing.

"Well, this is a shitshow," Florence complained as she leaned back in her chair.

Florence had arrived with Tony and the three Stark's were sat in a room as they watched the security footage of the Barnes questioning.

"Hello, Mr and Miss Barnes. I've been sent by the United Nations to evaluate you. Do you mind if I sit? Your first names are James and Katarina?" The evaluator questioned. "I'm not here to judge you. I just want to ask you a few questions. Do you know where you are? I can't help you if you don't talk to me, James, Katarina."

"My name is Bucky and her's is Kat," Bucky strained out.

Avalyn tuned out for a moment, closing her eyes as she listened to the feed. Katarina didn't look much different as when she last saw her, apart from the fact her skin has gained some colour and her cheekbones weren't as sunken.

"Tell me, Bucky. You've seen a great deal, haven't you?" The evaluated pressed.

"I don't want to talk about it." Bucky replied.

"You fear that... if you open your mouth, the horrors might never stop. Don't worry," The Evaluated added. "We only have to talk about one."

Before anything else could be said, all the lights went off, plunging the room into an eerie darkness. Like lightning, Avalyn jumped up from her seat, her heart racing as chaos began to unfold around her. The faint glow from cell phones and emergency exit signs cast unsettling shadows on the walls. In the dim light, Avalyn saw Ross urgently speaking into his radio, his voice barely audible over the growing commotion.

"Great. Come on, guys, get me eyes on Barnes. Go," Everett Ross demanded.

"FRIDAY, get me the source of that outage," said Tony.
