"Cap."

Avalyn Stark had to avoid the disappointed eyes of Steve Rogers as she sat in the broken-down car. Tony and Scott were with her, the two of them looking just as dejected as she was with the failure. They didn't want to be the reason this failed.

"Sorry, buddy..." Tony winced, pressing his thumb into his forehead. "We got a... problem."

"Huh." Scott scoffed. "Yeah! We do!"

"No need for the tone," Avalyn pointed out with a glare.

Avalyn stayed quiet as Tony briefly explained what happened, her forehead creasing with stress. The whole thing was messing with her head.

"Well, what are we gonna do now?" Steve questioned.

"You know what?" Tony snapped. "Give me a break, Steve, I just got hit in the head with the Hulk!"

"It hurt," Avalyn added lowly.

Meanwhile, Scott was busy pacing around as he ranted.

"You said that we had one shot! This-this was our shot! We shot it! It's shot! Six stones or nothing. Six stones or nothing—"

"You're repeating yourself," Avalyn muttered.

Scott turned back on Avalyn with a harsh bite to his voice, "You're repeating yourself. You're repeating yourself—"

"Dude. Come on!" Tony interrupted.

"You never wanted a Time Heist, you weren't on board with the Time Heist—"

"I dropped the ball!" Tony finally agreed.

"You ruined the Time Heist!"

"Okay, stop it!" Avalyn sped in front of them, arms extended. "Shut up. You're worse than my toddler. Just...is there any other opportunity to get the tesseract?"

"No, no, no!" Scott quickly shut them down, eyes bulging. "There are no other options. There's no do-overs."

Scott slammed the car door closed as Avalyn let out a frustrated sigh. They weren't getting anywhere with the arguing, anyone could see that.

"We're not going anywhere else! We have one particle left. Each! That's it, alright? We use that: bye-bye! You're not going home!"

"Yeah, well, if we don't try, then no one else is going home, either!" Steve added.
