"If you have enemies, good.
That means you stood up for something."

Chapter Fifteen>>
My eyes widened sharing a shocked glance with Scott and Stiles as they turned in their seats to gawk at Jackson.
The bell rang and Coach started class. "All right, listen up. A quick warning before we begin our review. Some of you, like McCall, might want to start their own study groups, because tomorrow's midterm is so profoundly difficult, I'm not even too sure I could pass it."
I stopped listening to him tuning back into what Jackson's was talking about.
"Paralyzed from the neck down. Do you have any idea what that feels like?" I rolled my eyes, glancing at Stiles, who took my hand in his, giving it a squeeze.
"We're familiar to the sensation." Stiles muttered.
"Wait. Why would Derek test you? Why would he think that it's you?" Scott questioned.
I grew angry. I told him last night, stop hurting my friends. What the hell does that jackass do? He grabs Jackson and paralyzes him. Now, while Jackson isn't too high on my friends list, he is Lydia's ex and I know she still loves him, so I will protect him.
"How should I know?" Jackson answered with his jaw clenched.
"Wait, do they think it's Lydia?" A growl escaped my throat as Stiles asked his question. All three of the boys stared at me. Stiles started rubbing small circles against the back of my hand. "Hey, calm down."
"I dare him to come near her." I spoke through my gritted teeth.
"I don't know." Jackson explained. "All I heard was her name and something about chemistry."
"Jackson!" Coach yelled getting my attention. "Do you have something you want to share with the class?"
"Um...Just my undying admiration for my..my coach."
Coached grinned sarcastically. "That's really kind of you." The smile dropped.
"Now shut up! Shut it!" He glanced around. "Stelmore, no PDA in my class, drop hands."
Stiles let go of my hand, letting it drop, as we looked at Coach confused. "What?" He questioned looking around. He shrugged. "It's their ship name."
He turned around back to the board. Scott grabbed Stiles by his collar pulling him towards Scott's desk. "How do we know it's not her?"
A low growl came from my lips. "Because it's not. Want to test my patience McCall?"
"Jenna, it's okay. We aren't going to let anything happen to her." Stiles comforted me, giving me a small smile before turning back to Scott.
"Besides when I looked into the eyes of that thing I saw pure evil. When I look into Lydia's eyes I only see fifty percent evil." Scott gave him a look. "All right maybe sixty. You know, but no more than forty on a good day."
"Stiles, that's not a very good argument." Scott countered and I rolled my eyes.
"He knows that but it doesn't matter. It's not her." I glared at Scott leaning back in my seat.
"She's right. It can't be her, all right? Lydia's fine." I nodded in agreement only for us to look up seconds later seeing her frantically writing something on the board.
The hairs on the back of my neck stood up, my pulse jumping. Claws sprang to my fingertip scratching against the desk getting Stiles and Scott's attention.
