Can you follow me out to the water,
I can show you were sinking deeper,
Let me know, cause I'm drowning for ya-Banks, Drowning
Chapter Thirty-Four>>
My claws dug into the inner side of Derek's thigh. The smell of blood alerting me that it was working.
"How are you already moving?" Stiles grumbled still not okay with the plan of me touching Derek so close to his...Derek parts.
I grunted. "I think the gunshot triggered the healing process. I can already move my feet." I wiggled my feet slightly for proof.
"How much longer 'til you can move your whole body?" Derek questioned. I thought about it feeling the numbing sensation leaving my legs.
"Shouldn't be much longer. What about you?" I asked back.
"I-uh, I need you to press harder." Derek stated awkwardly.
"Are you serious?" Stiles snapped his eyes glaring at Derek. "The blood has to leave my system faster Stiles."
"Whatever." He muttered while I did as I was told, putting more pressure down on Derek's leg. Just a few minutes later all the lights blacked out, leaving the office in darkness.
"What is this?" Matt inquired from outside the door. Then the sirens started going off. "What's going on?" Matt yelled.
"I don't know." Scott replied. Then it was as if we were in Afghanistan, gun fire shot off in every direction, glass shattering out of the windows littering the floor. Fog filled the air.
"What the hell is going on?" I coughed. In the next second Scott was shoving Jackson out of the way, coming to our rescue. "Take him." I sputtered the smoke getting to me while nodding towards Stiles. I knew Derek and I could get out of this but Stiles needed out now. "Go!" Derek agreed, yelling at Scott. Doing as he was told, he hauled Stiles's body up dragging him out of the room.
"How is it coming?" I grumbled, now able to sit up on my knees. Derek's legs twitched before moving outward. "I got it."
I nodded retracting my claws from his wound and standing up. "What the hell do you think is going on?"
Derek shook his head before raising to stand next to me, his eyes scanning the darkness. "I don't know, but I'm going to find out."
Derek darted in the opposite direction leaving me standing alone like a dumbass in the middle of the cross fire.
A yell echoed through the hallway, perking my ears up. "Papa Stilinski." My feet took off, running down the hall to the room I know Matt trapped them in.
John stood with his foot braced against the wall, his muscle straining against the cool grey metal cuffs. The skin around his wrist was raw and bleeding.
"Sheriff." I spoke up, alerting them of my presence.
Both their heads snapped in my direction, their faces showing small signs of relief. "Jenna, thank God. We heard the gun shot, is everyone okay?"
"Is Scott okay?" Both their questions hung in the air.
I nodded in Mama McCall's direction. "He's fine. He'll make it. I lost him in the smoke though."
Turning back to the sheriff I answered his question. "Technically, I was shot but it just grazed my leg." I stated pointing down to the bloody tear in my jeans, showing almost healed skin from where Matt had shot me. "I'm fine now. Everyone's fine."
