"Your mother died to save you. If there is one thing Voldemort cannot understand, it is love. Love as powerful as your mother's for you leaves its own mark. To have been loved so deeply, even though the person who loved us is gone, will give us some protection forever."

Chapter Twenty-Five>>

Ping.

My phone alerted me as soon as I stepped out of the car. Digging it out of my back pocket I flipped the outdated dinosaur open.

From: Allison Argent

Meet me in the library. Jameson is giving us a study hall first period.

I sent back a quick 'sure' before trudging towards the building avoiding all the other rushing kids. Before meeting Allison in the library I stopped by my locker to grab my chemistry book. The grey metal stared back at me as a yawn escaped my lips. Begrudgingly, I slowly put my combination in as my forehead leaned against the locker beside mine.

"It's good to know someone is as tired as I am." A voice from behind startled me causing my head to bang against the cool metal.

"Ouch." I muttered rubbing my forehead before turning around to come face to face with a solemn looking Stiles with large bags under his eyes.

"Oh, dang. I'm so sorry." His hands found my head, checking it over for any damage.

"I'm okay babe, just a little bump." I replied grabbing his hands and pulling him towards me. "I couldn't sleep last night without my teddy bear."

A sly grin morphed onto his face as our chest brushed together and his arms circled around my waist. "It was rather cold without my panther. Somehow she always knows how to warm stuff up."

"Damn right I do." I mumbled before brushing a kiss on his lips. We pulled back and I went back to grabbing out my books to get to the library.

"So what was the Warden's verdict?" Stiles wondered. The thoughts of last night and this morning popped into my head making me groan.

My locker shut with a clang before I turned and answered Stiles. "I'm grounded pretty much. I can't go out besides school, work, or practice and I'm not really aloud to see anyone, specifically you," Stiles grimaced. "but I don't care how much fighting I have to do I'm not staying away from you."

"Jenna, I don't want to get you in anymore trouble." He muttered scratching the back of his neck.

I cocked an eyebrow at him, a hand placing itself on my hip. "Do you want me to stay away from you then?"

"No, it's just--"

I cut him off. "Good because I wasn't going to. It's hard enough that I don't get to sleep by you anymore if I didn't get to see you any other time I might explode or worse, my inner were-panther will go crazy and kill people."

Stiles' eyes were wide. "We definitely don't want that and I don't want you away from me either. Last night was brutal."

"Agreed but unfortunately we do have to depart for now. I'm meeting Allison in the library for study period. Bye." A quick kiss to the lips and I was off.

I stepped into the library immediately greeted by a grumpy librarian and the smell of old books...or maybe that was the smell of the librarian but I didn't stay too long to find out. Walking around the tables I continued to search for my brunette friend, that was until a hand launched out and grabbed my arm pulling me behind a row of Jane Austen books.
