Chapter Four // Jenna's POV

I walked away from Coach uninterested in whatever warm up he was making them endure. My back stung with following glances but  I paid them no mind. It was probably just Stiles.

Uh, Stiles.

Why can't he just get that there is nothing between us and that he should leave it alone?

Probably because he likes you but you just don't want to admit it to yourself and get hurt again.

Well inner voice, that was not needed.

A brush on my jacket caught my attention snapping me out of my thoughts. Glancing up I saw the light green orbs of the one person I didn't really want to see right now.

"What the hell do you want?" I growled.

"Okay, I deserve the hostility." He shrugged like it was no big deal.

That made me stop in my tracks. "You deserve to have your ass handed to you on a shiny silver platter as you have to sip through a straw cause you can't process solid foods."

He rose his eyebrows, it fueled my anger. "I told you, you ever hurt them I'd hurt you. And right now, I don't even know what the hell I am capable of but I want you to leave me the hell alone. I'm done with you."

I could see the hurt in his eyes for a split second before he grabbed my arm pulling me closer. "Do you think you are turning?"

My eyes hardened. "What the hell does it matter to you? I'd never join with a backstabbing alpha."

"Because if you are, I don't want anyone to end up dying tonight." He growled right back.

I pushed him away. "I'm not your problem and I have my own plan. I'll be fine. I can take care of myself."

"Did you come up with it with Stilinski?" I rose an eyebrow.

"What would it matter if I did?" Derek rolled his eyes. "Because you and Scott think that your friend can just Google werewolf and suddenly know everything."

Him bashing Stiles didn't sit well with me. Taking a step forward I got in his face. "You know why we got to him and not to someone like you? It's because we trust him. He's loyal. Maybe if you had one trustworthy bone in your body we would actually consider letting you in on what we are doing. But for right now you're just the asshole who helped us kill his insane uncle and took Scott's normal life away from him."

I backed away leaving him stunned. "So how about you leave me and all my friends alone, because face it Derek, we don't need you."

I didn't wait for him to reply as I turned around and walked towards the library. I had to get caught back up on all the schooling that I missed.

Classes seemed to blur by and finally the end of the day was rolling around. I noticed there was a buzz of gossip humming in the air but I couldn't really focus on what it was. My head felt like it was in  space mode. Anything and everything was just floating in there but I wasn't grasping the concepts. Until Scott grabbed my arm hauling me out the front door.

"Scott, what are you doing?"

He didnt' answer just watched as a police cruiser pulled away from the school. My eyes singled in on Isaac in the backseat.
