The group of warriors weaved through the island pillars and to the main island.

"I promised myself I would never set foot here again." Hiccup mumbled as he dismounted Toothless.

"Don't worry, my queen, we will protect you." Astrid said, as she too dismounted her lover.

The dragons stayed at the edge of the island watching out for enemies while the slowly transforming humans sneaked through the forest.

The dragons, staying alert, began to make conversation.

"So, when do you plan to announce your heirs, my king?" Battle-Axe said.

"When the time is right, my subject. We must find the children first."

"Do you also plan to tell everyone about that titan-wing you encountered yesterday?"
Toothless stiffened at the question, "How do you know I met a titan-wing?"

"My king, I'm not stupid, I know the difference between a regular dragon scent and a titan-wing scent."

"Please, Sharp-scale, do not tell the queen. I do not wish him to be harmed because of my past."

"Your Highness, please do not use my old name. Use my name my mate has given me, just as I use the name your mate has given you."

"My apologies.. Battle-Axe. Do not tell him."

"What exactly am I not supposed to say, your highness? What happened out there?"

Toothless sighed and began the story, " When I was just a hatchling, my father, Bloodthroat, noticed I was not a titan-wing like my siblings were. He then gave me two names, 'runt' and 'smallface'. I didn't like either. But, as long as he fed me, I did not care. At the time, I was oblivious to the things he said because I was so small. As I got older, I noticed he would take my siblings out without me. Mother taught me to fly, not him. He would use my name as insults towards me and any sibling who did wrong. I did not know what he would feed me every night, but it was awful. I stopped eating what he gave me and instead, mother fed me bird or lamb. The fact that I ate human meat as a hatchling disgusts me now. I would never eat it now.

He eventually kicked me out of the nest for being too weak. He killed my mother when she tried to bring me back. In front of me laid my mother's body, Bloodthroat standing over her. I ran away in horror and have been on my own, until I met Hiccup. He may have shot me down and wounded me, but that wound was nowhere near as bad as what my father did. For years, I watched him take over nest by nest. When I saw him out there yesterday, I knew what he was here for, he was looking for a new nest to take over."

For all his strength, Toothless was shaking in terror about what his mate would say if he ever found out he ate human as a hatchling. He shook in terror at what his father would do if he found the nest.

Battle-axe contemplated what the king told him. He sat in silence for a few moments before saying, "I understand why you do not want me to say anything. Rest assured, my king, No words will come out of my mouth about this. However, I do believe that the queen would not see you as any less of a mate for what you have unknowingly done in your hatchlinghood."

"All the same, Battle-axe, I would like to keep it quiet for now."

The two dragons sat in silence, suddenly a screech ripped through the trees. The dragons stood up and raced through the forest to see what had happened to their mates.
