Song: Until I found you by Stephan Sanchez- the song is for later on in the chapter when Domenico is talking to Dario, and then looks at Evangeline who's sitting at a table with the Berlusconi family. I felt like the song pretty much describes how Domenico feels about Evangeline and kinda sums up his emotions and feelings:).

Okay, how was the last chapter? I'm not even going to lie, writing Evangeline and Domenico's date literally had me squirming in my bed😭😭. Please by all means, comment what you guys thought about their date and everything. As long as this book is so far, after last chapter things are going to be unraveling. The chapter was kinda the big kickstart in Evangeline and Domenico's relationship, so I had to push everything into one chapter...sorry about that;). Anyway, I hope you're enjoying this book so far, please stay and keep reading, I promise you this book will get better!!

Also, sometime in this chapter, it'll be switching over to Domenico's POV, so just be ready;)

Again, please, comment, like, and vote💗.

The soft sound of birds cawing in the distance infiltrated its way into the room. The warm sunlight seeped its way through the curtains, resting itself on the bed. The room was peaceful and quiet, the soft humming sound of the AC lured about in the vents. I breathed in before yawning, stretching itself before coming to a stop. Looking down at my hand, Domenico's fingers were entwined with mine. I smiled before resting my head back down on the pillow. I wasn't going to lie, I was shocked to find Domenico next to me, asleep. The few times he had stayed the night with me, I usually woke up to an empty bed beside me.

Slowly turning around, I gazed up at Domenico. He always looked so peaceful when he slept, he made no noise and always managed to make me smile. " You gonna join me or you wanna keep staring?" Domenico asked softly. I grinned as I rested my chin on the pillow, " I like staring more." Holding back a smile, Domenico's slid his around under me and pulled me closer towards him. " I thought you were going to leave," I said. " Give me a good enough reason to" Domenico said back. I shook my head, " people are going to wonder where you are." " Is it so hard to ask for one moment alone with you?" Domenico asked as he looked down at me. I smiled, contentment filled Domenico's eyes as he kissed my forehead.

" I'm making you breakfast," Domenico informed me as he got out of bed. I raised my eyebrows, " you can cook?" Domenico scoffed as he buttoned on his dress shirt. " I didn't mean it like that," I smiled as I sat up, keeping the top of the sheets close to my chest. " I'm just saying, you're always working and I've never seen you in the kitchen," I justified. Domenico looked at me, " I cook, I started when I was ten." I nodded, " that, I didn't know." Grabbing his tie Domenico informed me, " my mother taught me because she said it was the only way to clear your mind." " I had a chef my whole life, my mother said I didn't need to waste my time cooking when we had someone in the kitchen to do it for us," I told Domenico.

" Good thing I have patience," Domenico said. I frowned, " I'll teach you," Domenico said. I scoffed, " yeah, you'll teach me to burn the house down." Domenico grinned, " trust me, I won't let you burn the house down." " Okay, but I can't go downstairs yet," I informed Domenico. " Why not?" Domenico asked. I slightly raised my eyebrows, as if it wasn't obvious. Domenico chuckled softly as he eyed my bare shoulders. " Just, go get something out of my closet," I said. Leaning down, Domenico said in a soft, alluring tone, " I like you better naked." Scoffing as I raised my eyebrows, I said, " well I want to get dressed, so please go get me something to wear." Domenico grinned before pecking me on the lips. Turning, he walked over to my closet before disappearing around the corner. Rubbing my face as a smile broke out across it, I fell back onto my bed.
