It was lunch time. Harin was storing her textbooks in her locker and going out of the classroom when a student in the same batch as her approached her. "Meet me at the back of the school, near the field." He said, smiling to her. "Ooh~ a student has a crush on Harin." Her classmates teased her. Harin awkwardly chuckled. Harin then went to the located area after asking her classmates where it is.
—— As she approached the student who had just talked to her at the corridor, about 3 to 5 students appeared after hiding at the blind spot around him. At that moment, she felt this may not end well for her, seeing Haru was also part of the group. As she was about to back away from them, the student pulled her closer and threw her closer to the group.
"Since you messed with Hana yesterday, you're now messing with us now." One of the 5 people said as he swings his baseball bat with full force. Whilst swinging it like a toy, he finally decides to swing the bat towards Harin's direction. Fortunately, with her reflexes, Harin backed away from it, making the teen spun due to the extreme force exert on the bat. He ended up tripping after stepping his own shoe upon swinging the bat.
That was when the other remaining teens started swinging their weapons to Harin, watching their victim evading every swing they did to her. Occasional 'tch' and mutters were heard from them as Harin evaded them. It was at that point that she decided to grab one of the teens' weapons and yanked it away from them before punching them in their stomach. Then, another teen decides to fight one-on-one with Harin, but ended up getting punched in his face.
Thinking that was the end of it, Harin let out a sigh, oblivious to the fact that she is still in those teens' vicinity. A few seconds later, a mix of Jeno, Jaemin and Haechan's voice was heard. At the same time, Harin felt a sharp pain on her head and slowly, her vision gets blurry. "Done, now she's yours." That was the last she heard before she was completely knocked out from the sharp pain in her head.
—— A group of 6 teens were standing close to one of the beds. Just then, footsteps approached them and came to a halt after meeting up with the 6 teens. "How is she?" He asked, panting after running to search for her.
"Harin's fine. The injury is not too serious." Chenle answers as he lets out a sigh. "I'm heading out for awhile." Jisung said as he got up from his seat. Just as the oldest was about to approach him, Jeno pulled him back and shook his head. "Let him calm down, Mark."
"Where is Harin?!" Meiru screamed along the corridor of the hospital the moment she stepped into the hospital. "Ma'am, please quiet down. There are other patients in here who are resting." The staff at the reception table said. Meiru apologised to her before approaching the staff. "May I know where is Kim Harin?" Meiru asked. The staff pointed towards the 6 boys surrounding the bed. She then thanked the staff before approaching the 6 boys who were standing close to the bed.
"Why are you guys surrounding Harin's bed like some bodyguard? Do you not feel cramped?" Meiru asked as she pulled Chenle and Haechan away for her to see Harin. The moment she saw Harin in that condition, she gasped. "What happened to her? Who did this?" She asked. "It's... kind of a long story." Haechan answered.
Haechan, Jeno and Jaemin were walking out to go to the nearest convenience store as usual, since the school gate is open during lunch & break time for students to purchase food from outside.
As they were walking out, Jeno heard a commotion happening a few metres from them. Looking at where the commotion came from, they three noticed a girl evading the 6 students who were swinging their baseball bats and damaged wooden sticks at her. "Why does she look like Harin?" Jaemin asked.
"How do you even know what she look like from behind?" Haechan asked. At that moment, Harin punched one of the guy's stomach. The three then saw who the girl was, which was literally Harin herself. Immediately, they shouted her name, which made Harin looked to where it came from. Just then, one of the girls managed to swing her baseball bat right at her head.
"Shit, why did you shout her name?!" Jaemin asked before running towards the semi-unconscious Harin. "I don't know! How should I- "
"Stop bickering and help her!" Jaemin shouted before running towards Harin. As he was about to reach Harin, a wooden stick was swung at him. Thankfully, he managed to avoid his head from getting hit and kicked it away. "You're not going anywhere with her. She's ours!" The girls said as they grabbed the baseball bat which was on the ground.
The two boys approached Jaemin, with a damaged wooden stick in their hand. "At this point, you're just murdering her. And the 2nd victim is likely me." Jaemin says before adjusting his posture. Not even a few seconds, one of the boys started to swing his weapon at Jaemin. "Jeno! Get the ambulance, she's bleeding!" Haechan shouted as he pushed the girls away from Harin and carried the injured girl. The girls were about to chase after him to make him drop Harin, but was stopped by Jeno who threw a chair near them, making them flinch. "Stay out of this. And you, Haru. You're the most disgusting person I've ever met in my whole life." Jeno said as he glared at Haru who was backing away from him.
"That was what happened. But fortunately, the doctor said the impact wasn't too strong, so she'll most likely have occasional pain from it, which will take about at least a week to fully recover." Haechan explained. Meiru nodded in response.
"But how long is she going to wake up? It's been like 2 hours after we came to see her, which totals up to about 4 to 6 hours." Renjun asked. Just then, Harin's eyes slowly flickered open. Jeno, who is constantly checking on her, noticed it and calls for a doctor to say that Harin is awake.
—— "Since she's getting well from the pain, she's good to go. She'll be able to leave in about 2 hours." The doctor says after checking up on Harin who had woken up.
The group of 7 teens chatted with Harin to waste the 2 hours of being inside the hospital. That was when Harin realised Jisung was not with them. "What happened to Jisung?" She asked.
"He's busy taking care of stuffs. Most probably his architecture-related work since he's taking an elective similar to architecture." Jeno answers, receiving a hum in response by Harin.
