"Now die." That was the last phrase Harin heard as she shuts her eyes closed, expecting her head to be blown off. The sound of the pistol was triggered, however she still felt the pain from her arm and leg. Slowly opening her eyes, she noticed a familiar teen holding a pistol and aimed at something beside her, which was her father's pistol.
"Darn it, we're hoping to end this quickly but you had to interfere! Kill him too!" Harin's father shouted in annoyance. In a blink of an eye, the 3 pistols were held out from the 3 men and they aimed it at Jisung. The teen immediately shielded himself by crouching to where the couch is at.
What was supposed to be a silent and peaceful atmosphere turned to a match fight, with the deafening sounds of the pistol triggered. "JJ, I need you and JW here!" Jisung said in between shooting the 3 men, using the on-caller's initial. As he hangs up the phone, he finally switches his focus onto the attacker and managed to kill 2 of the 3 men. However, that did not stop the momentum of the remaining attacker as he continued shooting at the teen. Jisung went to a furniture that is enough to shield him after almost getting pierced by the bullet. He finally managed to pull the trigger at the attacker's forehead, instantly killing him.
Jisung immediately ran towards Harin, who is on the brink of closing her eyes. "Harin. Harin. Harin!" He called her name as he lightly shakes her arm. "...Behind..." She muttered out, exhaling sharply. Before Jisung could look behind him, a knife went to the left side of his back which made him gasped in pain. The knife was pulled out and this time, the attacker made the teen faced him and pierced his abdomen before kicking him away from the knife.
"All of this would've been finished earlier if not for you." Harin's father said as he stared down at Jisung who was covering his wound in pain. "But, oh well. Guess you're the third person to die today then. Enjoy your sufferings." He added on as he flicks his lighter and threw it nearer to the damaged couch.
Soon, a trail of fire were going towards each of the room, going up the next floor and lastly, the living room where the three of them are laid down on the floor. The cold sensation felt from the barely alive duo were now switched to feeling the extreme hot sensation around them. From what Harin could see before finally closing her eyes, a figure likely to be her father had gone out of the burning house through the shattered window.
—— "Winwin, how far are we from where JS is located?" The person who was holding onto the steering wheel said, while the other one beside him was continuously clicking on the keyboard of his laptop swiftly. "In about 1.4km. Be prepared, both of you. From the surveillance footage nearby his location, one house is in flames right now." The person on the line replied. Humming in response to the person on the line, he pressed onto the accelerating brake to speed up the vehicle.
Upon reaching the location where Jisung was last tracked, the two people got out from the vehicle and was almost shocked seeing the atrocious flame. "Search for possible safe entry, I could see JS and 2 other people. If there's no safe entry at all, then we'll have to do the unthinkable." One of them said as he ran towards the burning house while the other went to the other side.
Miraculously, a shattered window was completely safe from the fire and the person immediately called his teammate about the entry while he ran towards Jisung and carried him out from danger. "Get... her out..." Those were the few words Jisung could mutter in between his weak coughing. The other person had managed to carry Harin out from the house before suddenly an explosion was heard, immediately destroying the property. "Shit. We didn't manage to save the other lady." The guy who carried Harin out said. "Let's head back. We don't want anyone hunting us down at this point in time." He said as he brought the girl into the vehicle, along with the other one bringing Jisung to the vehicle before driving off from the scene.
