"There, all done. It's fortunate that the blade didn't enter your body deep enough to cause any serious bleeding, but for now, you'll need to stay at home and rest. You'll also need to sit out for any upcoming physical activities for the time being." The doctor said after placing his medical instruments on the tray.
"I'll take my leave now, and Jisung... have a good rest and keep yourself healthy. I'll also let your friends know to check up on you once in a while." The form teacher said as she left early. After an hour of being in the hospital, Jaemin had came back after talking with one of the nurse about Jisung's condition.
"You sure you're good to walk alone?" Chenle asked. The teen nodded as he put on the hoodie Jaemin had given. The trio then left the hospital and helped sent Jisung back home while the two of them went back to school to get their schoolbags.
——harin. Harin groaned in pain as she tries to get up from the bed. Hearing her groan, Doyoung, who was fixated on his work, stopped what he was doing and approached her. "Hold on." He said as he took off the needles that were injected in her arm. The man then step away from her while still checking on her condition as Harin got out of bed.
"Careful, your legs are still in process of healing." Doyoung said as he tries to help her walk towards the elevator. As she entered the elevator, Harin muttered 'thanks' to him before the elevator doors close. Slowly walking towards her room, Harin opened the door. As soon as the door closes, a tear left her eyes as she leaned on her door and slowly collapse to the ground. "It fucking hurts..." She muttered.
She continued muttering the same words as she cried, slowly lying down while trying to bear the pain she had received from Hana. After what felt like hours of crying, Harin's eyes felt heavy and she ended up sleeping on the floor.
—— The next day, Harin woke up from the floor which she used as a bed. As Harin got up from the floor, she let out a sigh of relief seeing that the pain was not as worse as yesterday when she had just woken up. Still, she struggled to try to enter her bathroom to freshen herself up. After what felt like hours of being in her room doing the basic things she'd be doing in just a few minutes, Harin finally left her room and walked to the living room.
Upon walking to the living room, Harin saw Jaemin and Jeno looking frustrated on their laptop. The look of frustration on the duo's faces was gone the moment they saw Harin walking out from the hallway leading to their respective bedrooms. "Harin. Are you feeling better?" Jaemin asked.
"You could say so. Just that... it's kinda hard to walk properly because of my legs temporarily." Harin said as she sat on the couches. The trio sat in the living room in silence, except for the two Js who were clicking on the keyboard of their laptops. "So uh... what's going to happen to my work? Those gang-related activities?" Harin asked.
"...For now, you'll sit out as your injuries are quite severe based on the impact Hana did to your legs and your body... and Taeyong himself doesn't want you to force yourself into taking part in the work since you're quite a newbie to this. But over time, you'll end up having to take part even when you're in the midst of recovering. Just like Jisung." Jaemin answered.
"Jisung? What happened to him?"
"He got attacked by Hana's mom." Jeno answered, receiving a 'huh?' from Harin. "Meiru didn't tell you? She thought he was lying about the fact that Hana tormented you to the point she went berserk and tried to kill Jisung. We basically ended up leaving school early because of the incident, added the fact that Ms Jeon fainted just a few minutes after Hana's mom was arrested." Jaemin explained. Harin let out an 'oh...' in response before getting up from her seat a few seconds after hearing Jaemin's explanation. "I'm going back to rest." She said as she went back to her room.
