"Told you Hana's going to stop disturbing Jisung and start beating you up. It's been a week since we last saw her." Haechan said as he lifted his chopsticks to start eating his food.
"Alright, alright... I get it, now can you stop talking about her?" Jisung said, shooting daggers at Haechan who was giggling after annoying him for the past 1 hour. As Haechan continues back on eating his food, Harin and Meiru came back.
"Here." Harin said as she gave Jisung's favourite drink to him and sat beside him, while Meiru sat opposite to Chenle since Renjun was already beside him. "You guys have any plans after school? I'm kinda feeling of wanting to go to some cafe." Jaemin said after placing his phone on the table with the screen facing down.
"We're planning to finish up our coursework together. We can do it later when we go to the cafe you're intending to go." Harin said, followed by Chenle and Jisung who were nodding their head in response.
"Umm... I'll need to stay back cause I need to use some of the school's stuffs for me to complete my work." Haechan said. Harin side-eyed at him, making him look at her in confusion.
"Who asked you to prioritise your games. No wonder your coursework is 50% complete. Plus, the deadline is in 2 weeks." Harin said. Haechan let out a "huh?!" out loud which startled Harin and Renjun.
"Shit, I don't think I can complete my work within 2 weeks! Oh god I'm going to die..." Haechan said as he let out a sigh.
—— Upon entering the cafe, the group brisk walked towards the empty table for them to sit. Jeno asked the group what are they buying and noted their orders down inside his notes app. After a few minutes of hearing their orders, Jeno finally grabbed his wallet and walked towards the cashier counter.
While Jeno was ordering the drinks and food for some of the members, Jisung and Harin had started taking their laptops out and continued on finishing their coursework. Meanwhile, Haechan was on his phone playing his usual game. "You're not using this time to do your coursework?" Jisung asked after seeing him still on his phone after about 10 minutes.
"I'm planning to stay up late today and try to complete it." Haechan replied.
"No wonder you're way behind Harin and Jisung." Renjun muttered to himself before letting out a sigh, making Chenle and Harin chuckle.
Haechan's fingers froze, letting his phone audio announce 'You Lose!' Haechan let out a sigh as he takes out his laptop from his bag and placed it on the table. "Fine, fine. I'll do it now, and maybe continue doing it later if I can't complete it when we're here." Haechan said as he sets up his laptop before starting on his work, now taking a seat beside Jisung and Harin if he decides to ask for help from the duo.
Renjun rolled his eyes before continuing on working for his English assignment, followed by his draft essay for an upcoming English essay competition. A few minutes later, Jeno came back and called Jaemin and Chenle to help him collect their food and drinks. Upon receiving the drinks and food for some of the group members, Mark finally arrived and sat beside Chenle and Renjun.
—— After spending hours on her laptop, Harin stretched her arms. "I'm going to have a short outside air, I'm getting sleepy over doing the assignment." Harin said as she got up from her seat, receiving hums from the group. "Don't stay out there for so long. Who knows what might happen to you." Jisung said without looking away from his laptop screen, to which Harin let out a hum in response.
Harin sat at the bench that was outside the cafe. Sitting there, her eyes was fixated on the 2 cats from afar that were walking around and lying beside one of the stores. Her intention to be outside for just a few seconds ends up in being a few minutes as she lets herself glued onto the bench, watching the 2 cats.
After about a few minutes, Harin finally got her sense back and check her phone. She cursed to herself in whispers and got up from her seat when her collar was harshly pulled. The next thing she saw was completely black as a black trash bag was wrapped around her head. Unfortunately, the human traffic near her area at that time was extremely low, meaning there were no witnesses seeing Harin being kidnapped. It did not help that the people inside the cafe were busy doing their own thing, thus not seeing the girl being dragged away.
