The vehicle halted as they reached a few distances from their targeted building. Mark took out his laptop and started clicking onto his keyboard to try and hack the surveillance cameras inside the building. Jaemin was discussing where should they position themselves with Renjun while the other 4 were on their phones, waiting to be sent out and sneak around the building.
"Ok, here's the target. He seems to be having his own 'me time' at the 3rd level. There's no bodyguards around him." Mark said as he showed his laptop to the members.
"Do we need to disguise and blend in with the public?" Jisung asked. Mark look at him for a few seconds and replied "We'll need to disguise ourselves. We don't know if this is one of J.Seph's traps in not having his bodyguard with him."
"So here's how it goes. From what Taeyong and Doyoung had said, the first 5 floors are for public use - the sauna and spa treatment. The floors after that are where J.Seph's people are likely to be there, protecting any important documents in there. So, Jisung, Jeno and Harin, you're staying on the first 5 floors, disguising yourselves as the public and at the same time keep a lookout for where J.Seph is. Haechan and Chenle, you're sneaking up the floors after the 5th floor to find the documents. You three, once you managed to find J.Seph and capture him, team up with Haechan and Chenle. " Mark said.
After having a brief talk, the group got out of the vehicle and went on their separate ways with the 5 teens going towards the building and the other 3 going to the other building to position their sniper rifles. As the 3 teens entered the building, the staff at the reception table greeted them. "VIP room for Mr J Lee, am I correct?" The staff said. Jeno nodded in response and followed the staff who got up from her seat. Harin was confused as to how they were able to enter the premises without much difficulty but did not ask and just trailed behind Jeno. In the midst of going to where the VIP room, Harin caught sight of a man that she had seen from the files Taeyong had given earlier this morning. "Hey, Jisung. That's our guy right?" She asked. Jisung nodded in agreement, seeing their target, J.Seph, relaxing inside the sauna.
After going to the 'VIP' section, the staff stopped in front of one of the sauna rooms. "Here is your sauna. To change to a robe, your lockers will be inside one of the rooms when we entered the 'VIP' room. The room is only accessible to you. Enjoy your time here, sir." The staff said before leaving the trio alone. "Do we really need to change to a robe? Just to get our target?" Harin and Jisung asked in unison.
"Well... if we're going to get our target without arousing suspicions, we'll need to disguise ourselves as ordinary civilians. Come on, we'll need to change up." Jeno said as he walked towards the room where the lockers are. Jisung and Harin sighed as they followed behind him.
'Tch, why do we need to wrap ourselves in a bathroom robe? We're just going to get that man.' Harin thought to herself as she changed her outfit in another room. As she got out of the room, she saw Jeno and Jisung fixing their robe. She trailed behind the two Js and stopped in front of their allocated sauna room. "You guys go in first." Jisung said as he let Jeno and Harin went inside the room. A few minutes later, he entered the sauna room and sat a few metres from Jeno. "I already placed the device Ten had given to me. We'll be able to know when he will leave the room." Jisung said.
"How long do we need to wait?" Harin asked, feeling uncomfortable after sitting inside on a wooden surface for an hour. "I don't know, he's not even coming out at all." Jisung said, getting frustrated as the device he had on his ear is not vibrating at all. Just as he was thinking Ten's device was not working, a vibration was felt in his ears. "Wait, I'm sensing vibrations. He left the room." Jisung said and almost immediately, Jeno and Harin looked at the door where they noticed J.Seph walking in the corridor.
"I'll go. You guys stay here." Jeno said as he got up from the seat and entered the sauna J.Seph was at. "Jeno, what are you doing?! J.Seph's going back, you're going to get caught!" Mark said through the earpiece.
"Relax, I know what I'm doing." Jeno said. As Harin wiped off her sweat, she saw J.Seph walking back to his allocated sauna room. When J.Seph entered the sauna room, muffled sounds were heard through Harin and Jisung's earpieces. Harin was about to leave the room when Jeno spoke up "I got him, he's knocked out. We have an estimated 20 minutes to get him back to the vehicle before he wakes up." Jeno said.
"Hold on. Ok, there's a few backdoors leading to the exit. But some of them are in the staffs' sight so it'll be difficult to get him out without being caught. I'll try something, in the meantime Jisung, Harin, change up and catch up with Haechan and Chenle. They're at level 7." Mark said through the earpiece. Harin sighed in relief as she did not have to suffer in the heat and got up from her seat. The same goes for Jisung, who took off the towel wrap from his head and trailed behind Harin who was going to the lockers.
"Hey, are you- What are you doing?" Harin asked as soon as she had finished changing up into a proper attire. "What? I need to cool off my body first. If only our target wasn't in the sauna room, I wouldn't be inside that hot room." Jisung said as he had his body faced the fan. "We don't have time, just bear with the sweat. It's not like you've never exercised covered in sweat." Harin said as she pulled Jisung out from the lockers. The duo walked to the receptionist area and return them the card Jeno had given to them before leaving the two of them alone.
"Mark, do you know any place we can go up to level 7 without being detected by the staff?" Harin asked. "To the left from your direction, there's a staircase leading upstairs. There are no staff there." Mark replied. Jisung followed the direction Mark had said with Harin trailing behind him.
—— As they reached the 7th floor, Jisung and Harin saw Haechan and Chenle leaving one of the rooms. "There you are. Let's go, there's no useful stuff in this floor." Haechan said as he pulled out the knife that was on one of the corpse's necks.
"J.Seph is with us. Jeno will be meeting up with you guys. You guys have an hour and a half left to search through the building before we leave the area." Mark said through the earpieces. The group sped up their pace as they swiftly sneaked upstairs, assassinating every enemy they passed by together with the help of their snipers.
Upon reaching the top floor, the group were panting nonstop. "How much will you bet we'll find some dirty secrets here?" Haechan said as he gave a smirk to the group. "I bet $100." Jaemin said through the earpiece. "Seriously, you're betting?" Jeno questioned as he let out a sigh through the earpiece.
As soon as Haechan looked to the front after chuckling at Jeno's question, several people appear from the hallway and started shooting bullets at them. "Shit! Find a cover!" Chenle said as he pulled Haechan down since they were already behind the half-wall.
"Fuck! We're trapped in some room!" Jisung said through the earpiece with Harin's voice being heard. Chenle and Haechan were protecting themselves from the enemies and at the same time, having their hands out and shooting ammo towards them. "Jaemin, Renjun! We need help!" Chenle said as he refills his SMG, only to have his lower back to be shot due to the half-wall being damaged after sustaining the bullets from the enemies. Haechan pulled the grenade pin and threw it to the enemies which made them scream as they escape from it. As they were running away from the grenade, Haechan assisted Chenle to one of the rooms near them and the explosion was heard as soon as they entered the room. "You stay here, I'll go." Haechan said as Chenle winced in pain and gasped, trying to maintain his breathing.
Haechan looked out of the room and see the enemies being gruesomely killed by the explosion. Slowly walking towards the front of the room, he sees that there were no remaining enemies left and heaves a sigh of relief. Just then, footsteps were heard from where the group first entered which made Haechan aim his pistol at the door. "It's me." Jeno's voice was heard as he entered the room while catching his breath. Haechan let out another sigh of relief seeing that it was his teammate.
The duo then met up with Chenle, who was supporting himself against the wall. In the midst of Jeno tending to Chenle's wounds, Haechan looked around frantically. "Guys, Jisung and Harin are gone. Like literally gone."
