"Are you sure you're okay to carry that? It's pretty heavy."
Bella is already back downstairs with another box, while Ry is attempting to take the heavier stuff, trying to be a gentleman.
"I've got it. Don't worry," he claims, as I watched him fumble in the hallway.
"Is he okay?" Bella comes up, after Ryan disappears.
"Yeah. Mostly," I chuckle between my words, "so, what's left of this that you want to take?"
"The box on my dresser, the blanket, and the small box."
"Alright," I grab the one from her dresser, she grabs the other two.
Bella stops and looks around, "I know I'm not happy when I'm here, but I'm still kind of sad to leave."
"That's understandable. Regardless of anything, it's still somewhere you've called home."
"Yeah," her voice is a little shaky, before she takes a deep breath, and comes to the door.
"Ready?" I wanna be able to hold her hand, or put my hand on her shoulder, but this box won't allow it.
"Yeah, I'm ready."
Ryan has squeezed his way into the back, with the boxes, and is just waiting for us to leave.
We all move everything quick at the house, so I can take Ryan home, for him and Mrs. Jeffrey to get to work.
The boxes stay in the living room, minus two, those come to the bedroom.
"It's going to be such a pain to move all our stuff," she buries her face against my neck.
I can't help but grin, "hopefully, when we move, Mr. Jeffrey will be home, and we can borrow the truck, rather than using the car."
"That would be very helpful," Bella goes and falls back on the bed.
She told me, she didn't wanna go out for her birthday. All she wanted to do was move her stuff. I mean, I listened, but decided to still do something more than just moving.
I run out to the kitchen, grab the snacks, and then go back to the bedroom.
"Will you accept a relaxing movie night?" I stand in the doorway, looking at her in the corner of the bed.
"Of course."
I sit beside her, while she moves out of the corner.
"This is a good way to spend the rest of the day."
"I'm glad you're happy with this choice," I pull her close, and kiss her, "happy birthday, love."

I'm immediately looking through housing ads, when I wake up.
It's isn't long before Bella gets up, and moves into my spot on the bed, grinning.
She's always so proud of herself when she gets in my spot, and, realistically, she enjoys when I have to move her out of my spot, as well.
"What do you think?" Bella turns her phone to me, showing another ad.
1 BED, 1 BATH APARTMENT FOR RENT - $1490 /MONTH
"Damn, that's not bad, what are the rest of the rules and amenities look like?"
She hums, and start scrolling through the ad, "everything except power and Internet are included, and no smoking or loud parties."
"Oh boy, that may cause problems for us, 'no parties.'" I look at her, she's trying not to laugh.
I glance back to my laptop, "I'll check how much power and Internet would be."
She waits, still smiling in my direction.
"Okay, shouldn't be more than $60 for Internet, and $50 for power."
"So, we're looking at $1600 a month?"
"Yup."
"Plus phones, groceries and school?"
"Yup."
"How do we make that work?" I can hear her getting worried.
"We shouldn't have a problem covering the living stuff, with both of us working, and we can get student loans, those are always an option in the fall."
She's trying to calm herself, I can see it, but I know it can be hard for her. I move away from my desk, and to the bed, putting my arm around her, leading her to intertwine her hand in mine.
"Trust me, will be able to do this." I do my best to reassure her.
"Yeah, okay. I trust you. We can do this."
"What's the number on the ad?"
She reads it off as I type it in. I get a hold of the landlord, and get a viewing for tomorrow morning.

"Bella? You ready?" I grab my sweater and keys.
"Yup, I'm coming," she's still fumbling to put her jacket on while walking, which is kind of amusing.
The showing is across town, in an hour, but we decided to go for breakfast beforehand.
While I'm getting my seatbelt buckled, Bella leans over to me, with a grin on her face, "promise you won't kill us today?"
I laugh, "yeah, sure."
All because I messed up a parallel park and almost hit the car in front of us. ALMOST, ONE TIME!
we head to Freya's Place, our favourite breakfast nook.
When we're done eating, we go to the apartment, and have to wait a couple minutes, after still being slightly early.
"I'll let you folks have a look around, let me know if you have any questions."
"Perfect, thank you."
We walk, and Bella turns to me, "this place is really nice."
It is. It's small, yet plenty of space. Light gray walls, tile floors with main area and bathroom, and carpet for the bedroom, which also has a nice black accent wall.
Two windows in the bedroom, patio with windowed doors, and long windows on the side wall. It gives the place plenty of natural light, especially since it's a very open floor plan.
Bella continues looking around, and I go to speak to the landlord.
"I think we're in for this place, I'm not sure I saw it in the ad though, when is it available?"
"June fifteenth is the earliest I have for a single suite, lost of kids leaving for the end of school."
"That's absolute perfect."
"Great, I will give you these forms, you can get them back to me as soon as you can."
"Wonderful, thank you. Will be in touch soon."
We head out the door and down the hall.
"So, would you be okay moving in just short of a month and a half?"
"Yes! I'm honestly so excited for this."
"Me too."
