...

...

...

Y/N was laid in the cot, unconscious. They had a white patch of sorts, only the corner of it visible at the collar of their shirt, connected by a wire to a small box-shaped monitor. The monitor sat beside the bed.

Their hair had been cut shorter, and their clothing changed so they wouldn't have to stay in that suit, a disgusting reminder of Prime and his control over them.

Entrapta was the only one present in the room, looking at her tablet as she paced with her pigtails.

...

Thankfully, their vitals were okay, but they haven't woken up at all. Y/N would sometimes turn their head and whimper a little, stuck in some sort of dream or nightmare.

When she was done analyzing, she walked back out of the room. The door shut with a whir.

Outside, Adora had been pacing, her arms crossed for the longest time as she did. She was accompanied by Catra, who seemed just as worried as she was.

Catra's hair had been trimmed as well, to better suit her. She said that she liked it and it felt 'lighter'.

...

...

When they both saw Entrapta come out, they glanced at her, and hoped, hoped to hear some sort of good news.

"There's good news and bad news," Entrapta replied, seeming a little anxious.

Catra and Adora both exchanged a glance with each other, both nervous about the bad news that was to come.

...

"The good news is that their vitals are stable."

"And the bad news...?" Adora whispered, looking off to the side.

"The bad news is that it's uncertain what state they'll be in. So far, I'm not sure they're gonna wake up."

...

...

"Wait, you're telling us that they'll be stuck like that?" Catra's ears went down.

"Hypothetically. The chip is still embedded, but thankfully, I've been able to take care of the receptacle, which seems to have helped."

Adora remembered that tube that ran from their neck to their back, and all the green fluid that oozed out when she yanked it from their body.

She felt guilty if she caused any permanent damage. Adora didn't want to feel that she was the reason they might not wake up.

...

She sighed, "Thanks, Entrapta," she gave a weak smile.

Entrapta smiled back, "No problem! I gotta go, though. I need to go adjust the auxiliary boosters! Bye!" Entrapta yelled, leaving the two to go to the ship's control room.

...

...

There was a brief moment of silence after Entrapta left, the only sounds being the whirring of the ship as it traveled through space.

Adora wanted to go in there so badly and comfort them, though they wouldn't probably know she was even there.

But her hand dropped back to her side after she lifted it up to the keypad.

"Adora?" Catra noticed her hesitancy.

...

...

"I... I just wish there was more I could do..." her body was shaking a little.
